I don't work for Pautzke, but when we "brine" our bait it is salt based to firm the flesh so it doesn't come off the hook as easily and it leaves a fantastic scent trail. We also use "food" coloring to enhance the "eye" appeal of the bait to attract the fish. I would hope, and don't think Pautzke is using a toxic chemical to enhance bait for fishing as it's not needed!!! It's a simple brine and natural coloring😉 We've been using something similar for decades up here!! Unless you know what your talking about, shut your know nothing yapper👎 And yes, Alaskan seafood(fish) is the best on the planet👍 So sweet;)
