thank you again !!! between being broke and not ablet o afford the books + training, these are a godsend !, between you and the other faa tutorials on youtube, all this as a collective, i can do this at home, with all the visual based training i need, since this is how i learn process and retain best, i can put my limited funds into my flight sessions and tests at the airport ( scheduled a flight session for april 17th barring it doesn't cloud up and rain ) , thank you thank you again, please keep em coming these are all extremely helpful !

i have always remembered latitude and longitude by : latitude laying down, lateral , lay... longitude, long, long tall sally,, long, standing up around the globe. it sounds silly but its always worked for me since 4th grade so i kept that in my memory as thats just how it stuck

"4:01" how can 44 degrees imply that you are in a north quadrant? There is 90 degrees between the north pole and the equator and 90 degrees between the south pole and equator.

No! Wrong! You can do a cross-reference between two different VORs using only one receiver in the airplane. We teach it all the time. In fact, many DEs on check rides will, if they see you have two receivers, make one inop. and then expect you to still cross reference your location.
