North Dakota: 2021 Early Season Bow Hunt

If you have followed us over the years you know that North Dakota early season bow hunt is one of our favorite hunting weeks of the year. We literally document the whole thing day by day so that YOU can come along the journey with us. 2021 was year 9 for us in North Dakota and we were pumped to start our season up there! Had the bow set up at a pro shop. It performed just fine kzbin.infoUgkxQEKUoxLWwayEDZR0NKB-5limn4MBU-2L . And I would say this is a good starting now that I could pass down to my son when he is older.But the package was missing the release and a nock was missing from one arrow.Dealing with customer support was terrible. They suggested I buy a new release rather than correct their own quality control issue because it’s to expensive for the. to ship it out from China.Update: manufacturer got back to me and resolved the issue. I retract the above statement.

Just some free advice. If you are planning an outfitter hunt, ask if there’s any celebrity of any kind or real tree people that will be there during your hunt. If so, consider another outfitter. I made this mistake twice and it was very costly. I was not allowed anywhere near a trophy animal. Fifteen thousand and years of bonus points for nothing.

Just to clarify i do believe that in ND that you can hunt any land that is private just like public unless it’s posted on the property that you can NOT hunt. So I believein that instance it may be legal to bait be cause your hunting private property through public laws. At least thats my guess

Or, in this situation, review film, pay attention to deer behavior, when watched in slow motion, the shot wasn't bad, with the tail flickering, i figured 3 hours would do it safely. In my area, misjudge and leave a dead deer overnight, the coyotes will consume at minimum the rear hams, sometimes more. And i hunt to feed my family wonderful clean meat, im not concerned with headgear. The only thing coyotes wont damage

The arrow went through both sides. He fell on the exit hole side so that pushed the arrow back through. You can see the arrow sticking out both sides in the video.
