So glad found your video. Looking at buying a pro street built car here very soon and of course as you described it'll mostly be street driving so while I've seen itger options for a swing out door bar I feel this is probably the easiest in terms of fabrication work required to install on an already installed cage so I've saved it and will most definitely be ordering 1 very soon

Love the video! Just found out yesterday these even existed. Going to do this with a fox body mustang to make it easier for street and drag strip. That bar is a pain in the butt!!

So how do you like your choices, team z products and the combo’s? I’ve watched how you’ve done the installation’s. Measuring is important to me and where to do them. 👍👍👍

The coyote platform and Holley EFI is awesome. This is the first car I used TeamZ stuff on and it’s great. Everything was a great fit and went on relatively easy. So far the car has gone 5.40’s at 127.5mph in the 1/8 mile on 16lbs. So all in all a great combo IMO.

You said your cage was 1 5/8 but do you know the thickness of the pipe itself? I want to make sure mine will fit into the pipe itself before ordering. And thanks for your responses, we appreciate you taking the time to do these videos! :)

So its possible to leave the bottom pin in and swing the bar out after removing the top pin when exiting the car correct?
@crusadergarage2982 жыл бұрын
Yes that is correct.

I like the clevis on both ends . However you did not swing out the bar to show where it would be when open which leaves everything to the imagination . Bent bars. Do they pass NHRA / IHRA tech . I'm a rookie with only 2 track and one National championship wins and never took a car off the track to put on the road but you did put somebody besides Rhodes in the option book . I'm so old Jenkins and Liberman were my mentors. I can't Tig weld worth a dang either so No complaints , just having fun . Pro Stock ran 9.40 in my day lol. Good job for what it's worth and Jungle Pam was smokin hot .

My car passes NHRA tech inspection and has a 8.50 cage certification now. Thanks for watching

Just saw the stupid face I was making as I cut the door bar out with my saw. Hahaha
