It’s a really diverse city, very big so must have a car and patience for traffic. A lot of history and fun stuff to do but again you’ll have to socialize and get out there which isn’t too hard. It’s also very hot which is different from Seattle. Good luck!

That’s exciting!!! I think you’ll like it, i agree with the other comment it’s a huge city so prepare for long drive times, it’s extremely hot and humid in the summer and it does rain a lot (keep hurricane season in mind, it’s not scary just be prepared). But there’s a lot of good food & bars, museums and shopping! also Galveston is really close not the best beach but can be fun:)

Girl Austin is perfect la is too much to rich and to homeless the economy issues is horrible and the gang violence is back up high right now don’t bother just visit a few times I’m from Long Beach I’ve lived in the valley as well as the desert n I’m over California. I was coming to Houston but I see it’s over populating it’s a new scenery but a lot of bad has been happening to ppl moving out there so maybe Austin or Dallas but for now imma stay out until God guides me.
