Tearing Up My Heart - blueberryseason
Greater Death
Released on: June 1, 2010
Performed, Composed, Engineered by Arthur Medrano
Lyrics by Arthur Medrano
Self-Published, Self-Produced
**Album #6** Looking inward to see if there is anything broken is replaceable such that I could become more valuable, more worthwhile. Still able to put situations into songs... to find stories worth telling... newer modes of writing. Instead of focusing on the developing mythos, I used everyday conversation as a source for inspiration. I asked for people to commission songs (as seen in the track "95%"). Moving away from fading muses, I found myself baffled by how disconnected I had become. I longed to rekindle disintegrating connections.

02 Tearing Up My Heart
Verse
infatuation is just a phase of longing
you don't hold it but it holds you
Chorus
now you're tearing up my heart
with those things that you are saying
Verse 2
I wasn't trying too hard but you were
making cute comments, you were flirting
Chorus 2
now you're tearing up my heart
with those things that you are saying
Bridge
and after all the things you've said
instead of consoling you
I just went right forth and said
who cares what our hearts are for?
