I cry EVERY TIME I rewatch the show, even if it’s through a reaction video. The LOVE shared between Charlotte & George is what makes them my favorite unofficial Bridgerton couple. Such a bittersweet story, but so beautiful to watch.

If you don't spend the last 10 minutes of Charlotte sobbing then we can't be friends, lol. Fun fact: when George and Charlotte dance at their ball, a lot of the steps are typical/refined versions of the Laendler, an austrian folk dance most well-known for being danced between Maria and Captain Von Trapp in the Sound of Music. I noticed the similarities on my second watch-through - it isn't quite the Laendler, I think, but has similar steps. Considering that Maria was played by Julie Andrews who also voices Lady Whistledown I just love that little detail so much.

I think the queen struggled as a mother because.. She had to rule england throughout the years as the kings health got worse, and she stayed loyal to her vows and love for him,he must of took up alot of her time aswell.. And it sad because all her children ended up only having each other.. She so wanted to continue his line.... I believe they really did love each other, even though the queen brushed the thought of true love off/happiness in her later years,i believe it brought her so much pain to keep revisting those feelings and memories.. This last scene had me sobbing ... I was a mess... So well put together xox

Something that a lot of people missed is that the black man in the red jacket asking about succession is Simon's father at a younger age so it gives a bit of insight as to why he wanted a son so bad. He was among the first few POC to receive a title.

This spin off series ended up eclipsing the original for me, it has so much heart and feels so much more mature, especially in its understanding of love and connection, as though Bridgerton is the youthful but sometimes more naive experience, but Queen Charlotte is the older, more mature experience, having gathered enduring wisdom through hardship, adversity and perseverance; so beautiful, bittersweet and charming in a way that I definitely did not see coming initially 🌷 I’m not sure if you are looking for any suggestions for a future series, but I would highly recommend ‘Outlander’; it is such a brilliant story with such well written characters that feel truly human, weaved into a wonderful historical context. Also, the series ‘Penny Dreadful’ is an absolute masterpiece, one of the best things that I have ever watched in my life thus far, I think you would love it. Thank you so much for your videos, your wise and compassionate commentaries truly bring light to my day, thank you 💜 xxx

I’ve never cried so much on a single episode. This show is such a beautifully written story of love and friendship and hardships. I looked at each of these characters in such a different light when rewatching seasons 1 & 2, and now 3. I’ll forever remember the image of ‘just’ George and Charlotte under their bed holding each other. 😭🥹🥰👑

See. I don't show a lot of emotions so I rely on people like you to watch things and feel them for me and I must say you did not disappoint! The entire final episode had me in a chokehold. Ugh that scene with Reynolds and Brimsley dancing transitioning to Brimsley dancing alone DESTROYS me every single time, on top of EVERYTHING ELSE that happens like...a masterpiece, truly a masterpiece. I really hope that you make a short video discussing your feelings about the show -- even though I'm sure I can guess how you feel about it -- but I look forward to it nonetheless!

They had a deleted scene when we see Reynolds again - he's not dead, but he's still the Kings Man and since George has gotten worse (we think as well as whichever condition he already had throughout his life he also got dementia later in life) Reynolds spends all his time with George and so hardly ever gets to see Brimsley. Hoping we'll see him later in the show.

My guess is that because Charlotte has had to be the strong one to deal with her husbands condition and had to be tough as she was the face of the Great Experiment, she's forgotten how to show vulnerability - re why she couldn't go much further at her granddaughter's funeral than "sorrows, sorrows, prayers" (though even after her scene with her children in Episode 6 I still laugh at that scene every time). I also think that Charlotte just figured that George (her son) would know that she's knows what he's going through having buried three of her children (two sons before they were six and a daughter in her mid-twenties) and thought she wouldn't have to say anything else. Does that make sense?

I don't know whether or not George the Second (George the Thirds grandfather) did in real life hit his grandson or his daughter in law, but by all accounts his son Frederick did loath him - when his wife went into labour with George had had her removed from one castle to another so that their son wouldn't be born in the same house here his father was (I don't know though if that was out of concern for his soon to be born son or an act of spite against his father, but I don't imagine being bustled into a carriage which was probably very bumpy was a lot of fun for a woman who'd just started to give birth).

By all accounts William and Adelaide (the third son who became William the Fourth - the one Charlotte talked to about love being a choice) actually had a very affectionate marriage. In real life he was roughly 10 years older than her and had numerous illegitimate children, but they managed to make it work and she actually got along ok with William's children. I think she had a few miscarriages but as I said, their marriage was a lot happier than either of William's two older brothers were. I think (though I'm not sure) that Edward (the fourth son) and his wife Victoria had an ok marriage as well.

Ok, here's a list of Jane Austen Adaptations to look out for in case you get a Regency-era craving while waiting for season 4 of Bridgerton to come out after watching season 3: Emma (1996 - movie starring Gwenyth Paltrow) Mansfield Park (1999 - though might save this one for later because they completely rewrite Fanny Price's character, she's one of Jane Austen's meekest heroines but that doesn't means she's a pushover or passive, just not as outspoken as Elizabeth Bennett or Emma Wodehouse) Persuasion (1995) Emma (1996 - BBC tv movie starring a very young Kate Beckinsale of Underworld fame) Sense and Sensibility (1981) Northanger Abbey (2007) Persuasion (1971) Emma (2009) Mansfield Park (1983 - much more accurate adaptation) Sense and Sensibility (1971) Northanger Abbey (1987 - good luck finding it though) Persuasion (2007 - wait, haven't you seen this one? I need to check) Sense and Sensibility (2008) Mansfield Park (2007) Persuasion (2022 - though people dislike that one because they make Anne Elliot like Fleabag and are really annoyed at how much they changed her character, good casting of Richard E Grant though, side note have you seen Fleabag?)

When you asked about being emotional the previous episodes, I knew you’d be a mess at the conclusion!!! 🥹😅 I balled like a baby the first time I watched and had to laugh at myself because I sobbed as if someone I knew had passed. I’ve watched this season 3 times now and still cry each and every time. While bittersweet this is probably my favorite love story of all time now and my favorite season of Bridgerton. Between Lady Danbury and Queen Charlotte… ooof tragic but beautiful.🩷

There is some truth to the story of Charles and Charlotte. The real King Charles did, in fact, suffer from mental illness. Of course, Bridgerton/Queen Charlotte take much liberty in the telling of the story (very dramatized), but it is based on some truth.

@@ulricaandrae4381 well I guess you have a point, however in an earlier scene Reynolds did actually place his hand on George 's shoulder to calm him. And if Brimsley was allowed to ride in the carriage with Charlotte, then surely Reynolds was allowed to ride with George.
