Colin is so funny! He felt his world tilt and can't understand why, in his head, it didn't happen to her too. He Fell hard and became chaotic.

Colin is being fake though. I know you wish for this not to be true, but he isn't being himself. It's the whole point of his current story arc. He naturally is a sensitive and caring character that has been influenced by toxic masculinity in his society that have told him that he should not care for anyone but himself...and that he should live to use women as objects/toys and then dispose of them at his own leisure. He's still doing what his culture and society expects of him.

Travel is important, and it does change you. It can be very rewarding to experience. This isn't what is happening with him though. The Ton is very rigid and restrictive. My push back would be that he should have experienced helping people outside of his socioeconomic circle to open his eyes to what working class people struggle with in this era. It would have been much more rewarding to help those who need it. Rather than fooling around. Helping people in poverty, and not taking advantage of them for his own entertainment or pleasure. I would have respected that choice, not the one he chose that was self centred.

In the books, the whole Eloise finding out Pen is Lady Whistledown does not exist. It is in fact Colin who discovers this first. Eloise and Pen do not have a falling out

Coat off, sleeves rolled, ready for danger... but all the other gentlemen have their coats on still on this fine spring day 🤔 Colin had to vent some heat after watching Pen lick her lips (he wanted some of that sugar) and removed his coat and rolled his sleeves. That boy is literally burning for her. Amazing subtext this season.

In interviews the other actors were saying that Luke Newton who plays Colin had so much fun playing the dashing man of action filming the air balloon sequence. I love his waistcoat! ❤

I love the fact in the first episode Colin was suave, charming etc. One kiss with Penelope he's a stuttering idiot. Reactions to this season of Bridgerton and Dead Boy Detectives are my favourite to watch lol. Two completely different shoes.

The shawls and muffs that you see Eloise wearing actually are serving the purpose of covering Claudia’s (Eloise) broken wrist. She broke it messing around on set. She kicked up in her restrictive gown and fell. I’ve seen a few interviews with her explaining the wardrobe choices to cover it.

I'm loving so much this season. Colin is not sure of Penelope's feelings, i think. And with Debling, he is even more unsure if she truly likes him. I love Colin and Pen together so awkward and cute. I like Debling but not for Pen. haha

Book Colin and Show Colin are finally the same again with his Penelope obsession! I am so happy! Francesca is lovely, i like John. And i'm all for Violet finding love again. Or at least a good time. Lord Debling is a good character but i am loyal to Colin. 😂

I know people will disagree with me But I LOVE pen I relate to her as a plus size wallflower I honestly don't think pen had a choice about writing about Eloise either she did or the queen would expose it I also don't think Eloise was a great friend She's always talking about herself and doesn't listen or care about other things really A good friend would have realised pen was LW it was kinda obvious to me

Fun Facts- Prudence is played by Bessie Carter, the daughter of the actress who plays Dolores Umbridge in HARRY POTTER, and she’s actually dating the actor who plays Lord Debling while the actress who plays Phillipa is dating the actor who plays Benedict Bridgerton. Watch Prudence and Harry in the background scenes. She’s always primping and preening Lord Dankworth, and it’s adorable.

I agree that Colin has a right to discover himself and figure himself out. I think we'll see him figure out the type of man he wants to be this season. I think he was doing what every other young man was doing at that stage in life and what he thinks is expected of him.

@@PlayfulDivineOne i highly recommend you to read them. Smyth's are fun. I love all four books. I love iris her book is The Secrets of sir Richard Kenworthy but it's not Julia's best work but the rest are great in my opinion. I really loved Daniel, he has a great sense of humour and is very sweet and Anne was great Fl , they are in book A night like this. Just like heaven was a pleasant escape from work and worries. My favourite book is The sum of all kisses. Sarah is my favourite lead, her love interest is Hugh, he was referenced in the First ep of season 1 he was in duel. Reading order is 1 just like heaven 2 a night like this 3 the sum of all kisses ❤️ 4 the secret of sir Richard There's no big spoilers as far as I remember Sorry for over sharing ❤️

Many didn't love 4 book and it's justified in my opinion. Part of the problem is that it was the final book in the series but wasn't a great finisher especially after 3 book who is in my opinion strongest

I saw a video about Francesca and that she is autistic. The quietness, the music, the avoidance of eye contact, the ‘perhaps I should go alphabetically’ ... it all makes so much sense. I love Francesca. I've always thought I'm a mix of her and Eloise because Eloise is such an unconventional thinker and Francesca is so introverted. I see you Francesca ❤

I think Eloise would have supported Pen to a degree also… but after exposing her and almost ruining not only her but her whole family… that’s a hard bridge to cross.

@@Anesha12 fortunately they weren’t… but they very well could have been. Especially Eloise. That’s why no one attended their ball. But luckily they had stored up enough grace towards themselves that they got past that hurdle. But it could have easily gone the other way in that kind of society. And a friend even putting you in that position of risk, is no friend at all.

Honestly I hope that Prudence is the one who does end up having a baby boy. She is the eldest daughter, and if the rules of inheritance were fair then she would have been Lady Featherington when her father died. Also if she had actually married Jack, she would have been Lady Featherington. Therefore Prudence deserves to be the one who wins.

Prudence may be the eldest and may have come closest to being Lady F, but she would not be kind to her family if she inherits. She probably wouldn't provide for her mother and possible spinster sister. Besides, her husband doesn't appear to be particularly bright so we have no guarantee that their money would last.

Would've probably been very useful back then when everything was about behaving socially - especially the ways to tell someone to 'leave me alone, we're done' with the fan.
