Andrew is right about how good roasted broccoli is, and it's cheating with how simple it is to make it delicious. Basic: a little drizzle of oil and some salt and pepper, roast until you get charring. Bam, that's already fuckin fantastic. Choose a spice mix from your grocer or dollar store and you've got even more flavor custom to what you feel like. It's seriously so simple and tasty as a side dish.
