I don’t want everyone to stop doing 2d animation it’s kind of sad but this is also super cool! It would be great to have a more diverse community as in different styles of animation, I just don’t want to stop doing 2d animation altogether. That’s probably not likely though and I’m still super excited to see what cool new effects 3D animation could make! The fandom could make a movie this way since I think it’d be faster than 2d animation, I’ve never done 3D myself so I’m not sure but this is going to change the fandom a lot

Nice work! I love their puppets. I think I saw something like fingerprints on Snowtuft's right ear. Reminds me of the Wallace and Gromit animations. As a kid I loved looking at the models in claymation or stop-motion for things like that. It's a nice sign that a person was working carefully on their models and that they are really small and could fit in someone's hand (more on that below; I know now it's made with a 3D program, and you could've fooled me, because it's got minute details on it that look hand-done), but in the actual short or movie the models look life-sized. These cats' models are lovingly crafted and it made me smile. All those little ridges in the models and other details are really something. It's amazing how you used the program. You got the style of Tim Burton really well. They look the right mix of cute and creepy just like his works are. I was just watching Corpse Bride the other day, too, and it's amazing all the hours that go into stop-motion. Even watching the DVD's special features on how everybody makes the puppets and films them, I can't fathom how long it must take and how exhausted they all probably are after just an hour of taking shots and getting everything right. I still can't imagine how long this must've taken. I'll be watching it a lot more to see all the details I can. On the Bluestar Dancing video you put out today you said you didn't want critique, so I hope that wasn't a critique. Sorry if it was more like one than just a comment. I loved stop-motion like this since I was little and still am amazed by it today so I talked a lot.

OH MY GOD MY JAW HAS DROPPED. ITS ON THE FLOOR I love this so much! You absolutely nailed the burton-esque style! I love the eyes on the models, how gangly the legs are, the LIGHTING with the CANDLE OH MY GOD and the eerie, grotesque green that washes everything. I love how everything feels textured, it really looks like you’re moving clay figurines rather than cgi models. I also love how well you replicated the janky stop motion feel. I must ask, how did you do that? Cuz I wouldn’t know where to begin besides positioning every single frame and then copying and pasting the frames into the empty slots to prevent any linear interpolation, and I’m sure there’s a better way than that

Thank you so much!! And I animated on constant keyframes! If you use blender you can switch the interpolation mode to constant so it doesn't fill in any inbetweens!
