Since I don't see the Pond or nearby Forgotten Lands, my initial guess is it's some kind of extension to the Sunlit Plateau. Also, the ocean currently doesn't go completely around the Valley, so it could be a separate island next to Sunlit Plateau like Ariel's Island off Dazzle Beach 🤔

When I saw this, I immediately thought that it was a blank customizable biome just because of the way the borders look. To me, it seems like that would be easier to implement than straight up terraforming. The only thing that makes me question that is the well because it it was a blank biome, then why would you need a well there? I also notice Scar’s house at an angle and don’t want to get my hopes up, but this isn’t an artist rendering like the key art is, this looks like a shot of actual gameplay and, correct me if I’m wrong, but I think that would be the first time we’ve seen an item at 45° in gameplay footage. I can’t wait until Tuesday to get some answers.

I have a feeling we saw some angled footage in some previous trailers but honestly I would have to double check. I would love to have angled furniture, when we got the decorating improvements last time I thought angled furniture was the number one ask so was surprised we didn't get it. I am trying to not get my hopes up again hahaha! I am honestly so confused by this trailer but really looking forward to finding out some answers in the showcase!

They sure know how to make us go, what. It feels like the land is going out further into the water, maybe we can add more land, but also it being sunlit plateau themed is confusing too. I am curious what this all means. I thought when they meant expanding the valley that skull rock would lead to a new valley expansion (so it would be separate item limit and more space). Maybe they are going to allow us to fully edit the valley like remove the trees and rocks and other parts we can't currently edit to reform the valley how we choose. Anyway, so curious what it's gonna be.

The items at the back are the premium desert market items. Also... If it's Terraforming that might mean we can move the ponds! But I will keep begging them for valley presets if we don't get it this update :D

If they want us to keep buying House Skins, and lets faceit they likely do, then we are going to need a lot more space. I wouldn't have thought merely moving Ponds or Rivers won't beenough! I hope Presets are athing though if only for things like Xmas and Halloween.

i dont think we will be able to move ponds or rivers because of how there are set locations tied to the rivers for quest items. I hope for some sort of expansion. I do generally use the dlc for more space but i appreciate not everyone owns the dlc

Very interested to find out more about this feature.. Although i had been hoping for presets that are a copy of the biomes we already had, which this doesn't seem to be so i am a little sad about that

Ideally I hope it's a separate tab called Biomes Presets where we can choose the shape, the size, the base foliage look (forest, meadow, sunlit, desert if DLC etc...). Now that would be extremely helpful for Dreamsnaps as well. We can name our newly made biomes and add village houses there too. Maybe that level of customisation is too much to hope for... 🧐 Or they can add another portal on the Plaza leading us to a brand new map with slightly different twists on the original biomes layout.? Anyways very exciting!

They have definitely cut something out of the top of the picture, maybe it gives more away so they cut it out , but at the top left the tree has a rock by it , maybe that's part of the other side ? Whatever is happening I'm excited

Awesome video!! I did spot a couple of things that I didn't recognize in the image. 1. There's a door in the top left corner the doesn't seem to go anywhere. 2. Very close to the middle of the image there appears to be a house made of hay (at least it looks that way to me). Are these new?

I don't think they are expanding the main valley at least I hope not because that is so going to mess up peoples builds. I think presets and/or terraforming or at least being able to add islands or ponds and water to the valley is most likely and needed. I need a new blank valley to do my dreamsnaps asap. I have one spot I just don't decorate at all that I use for my dreamsnaps every week because I refuse to destroy my builds for dreamsnaps. I am so very excited for the showcase. I just can't wait!!!

I don’t think this is the sunlit plateau, I almost think it might be like a creative mode where we can do test builds or something or maybe save builds and work in different biome environments. I’m not sure why there would be a floating island though lol. Or maybe it’s an expansion of the valley itself, although I feel like if they were to explain a biome it would be a biome like the plaza or something, sunlit plateau seems kind of random. Maybe each of the biomes is getting more space added, which I would absolutely love! There’s definitely lots of possibilities, I can’t wait to find out what this is!

@lolbeech it definitely has a sunlit plateau vibe. In terms of the grass and stuff. I like the idea of a creative mode! That would be fun! Yeh I think if they expanded the valley it would be all the biomes not just one of them.

I think it sound be an expansion because people who have decorated there biomes fully will have to decorate the expansion bit and some people might like it as it is but other then that I got nothing
