Фильм показывает Лимонова-человека. Лимонов дома, в кабинете, где стоит старый, еле работающий компьютер. На кухне развешены собственноручно выстиранные носки. Там же - ванна и холодильник, в котором нет ничего. Только несколько ложек гречневой каши, оставшиеся после гостей. Аскетизм и спартанская обстановка.
Лимонов в то время - оппозиционный политик. Он в изоляции и опале. Зато только что устроил свою личную жизнь после выхода из тюрьмы. У него родился сын. Но речь об аресте и тюрьме, угрозах и опасности часто возникает в его монологах.

Limonov was quite a private person and did not let anyone into his personal life. The author persuaded the writer and spent one day with him from morning to evening, August 17, 2007.
Limonov in his rented apartment, in a room with an old, barely working computer. Hand-washed socks hang in the kitchen. There's also a splattered bathtub and an empty fridge with only a pot of leftover buckwheat porridge - the spartan conditions of an ascetic writer.
Limonov is an opposition politician at that time, and there is an unspoken ban on mentioning his name in the media. He's in isolation and disgrace. But he's just settled into his personal life after getting out of prison. His son was born. But arrest and prison, threats and danger often occur in his monologues. He is accused of terrorism and calls for the overthrow of the state system.
Limonov recalls his parents, the events in which he participated, the atmosphere of the 60s Moscow, his wives and friends, the people with whom fate brought him together and whom he admired. He appears in all his guises in the film. He acts as a poet and a writer, a politician and a bohemian with an unbearable character.
The film will use the unique shooting material of 1986 in Paris, photos from the family album, personally signed and commented on by the writer, and various original shots made by the film director in different years.
