Man, the overuse of effects is annoying AF. My opinion of course, but it actually detracts from the mix

I agree, but in some places they add to the mix. (Example: 9:57) Again, I agree, "annoying AF." Nonetheless, he know how to use them, but he uses them too much. EDIT: btw, you have my up vote, good sir.

When i was watching the video the first thing that came to mind was the same thing @troy knox . The effect abuse on the mix is just too much. Nice mini set but that effect overuse was so fuking annoying.

Nice work !. Love the S4, great controller, its just a bit too small. With my big hands it would be a nightmare to use. One of the reasons I went for the mc7000. Its massive !.

@@harryb4852 Yes i still have my MC7000. I still say its the best 4ch Serato controller there is. Better than the Pioneer ddj1000srt. I also have full size Denon SC5000's now.

@@harryb4852 They are end of life so no longer made. But you might find a shop that has one on the shelf. Or buy one used from ebay.

Phatt mix mate, Great demo, I would say this has the best pitch ever on a controller S4 mk3 by Native Instruments Traktor DJ, I would even say it's better then CDJ Nexus player 2 or any pioneer or denon players, controllers as it reminds me of turntable technics, but the price is bit much I would say, your probably get better value with Traktor S2 Mk3 and few Remix Decks from Native Instruments if you don't want great pitch that's bit shorter

I've seen a few people say the price of the S4 mk3 is a little high. I'm not sure I understand the point - the only Pioneer controller in the same price range is the DDJ-RR which is 3 years (?) old and only has a 2 channel mixer. Is there something I'm missing? Honest question btw - the S4 and DDJ-RR are my front runners for a future purchase.

Like I can’t think of any positives for the rr other than “club standard software” but it’s not the same layout as cdjs so barely makes a difference. The s4mk3 competes with the rx and DDJ-1000.
