Does flipping positions effect bb height? I tired getting them out but was unsuccessful. Thanks for showing.

From what i can tell it might raise the bb slightly but it more firms up the ride better bottom out resistance when hitting flow/jump trails. It does take some hit to get them out at first. Even commencal Australia said to us that that shouldnt be so hard to get out (we sent them a vid of me bashing it with a hammer to no avail), eventually we got them out and greased them. Im guessing a lot of them rolled off the line without them greased.

I think this video is very helpful, unfortunately a little to late in my opinion. After trying to remove those flip chips on my partners clash and sending a video of us hitting them out with a hammer (like what is in this video) commencal Australia said that it shouldnt have been that hard. Well I guess my method reached all the way up to the big boys 🤣. Solid bike though, you guys should be proud of producing such a weapon (even though the clash essential is on the heavy side).

Ya same here. Built up a xl for a buddy. Hes about 200 lbs so this frame is perfect. Its a super fun bike. I tried to change the chip. Could not get it out. Didn't want to hammer to hard. Made the mistake of installing 170 cranks. Think were are going to go with 160 as pedal strikes are severe. Went with a 50t cassette and ended up with a 42t x dome cassette and medium cage mech to lighten up the back of the bike. Worked out well.

@@Spikejones5001 does feel slightly heavy than my capra shred but all in all pedals quite well for an aluminium bike. It wont win any up hills but that's why you just take your time.

If they would have properly described this procedure in the description, I don't think I would have purchased the clash.
