Hi just saw this interesting video. I have come to the stage of the "boiler bushing". Your video showed that the "boiling bushing" came out so easily but I am unable to remove this even when I specially bought a "Philip flat head screw driver" like what you use but yet it cannot be unscrewed. Any advice on how to remove this.

Your home brewed/modified screw driver for the pressure valve screw can be easily substituted with a socket driver approach. Use a socket that fits a broad slot screwdriver head used with a drill. now you can use a socket wrench+socket+screwdriver head.

My Poemia Hd 8327 always presents the same problem from time to time and that is that arm fixed and tight at coffee mode ignition loses (out of the water) making the coffee itself diluted and therefore NOT drinkable ... What do I have to do with the problem of the step grating of the scallop or the filter holder arm where the waffle holder does not fit perfectly into its space because of the non-circular and well-positioned wire? I await your suggestions .... thank you very much

Great video. My bushing corroded and broke into multiple pieces. Where can I find a replacement bushing? In searching online I've had no luck.

Where were you able to find a slotted screwdriver with a tip wide enough for the bushing? Also, can you buy replacement bushings?

Our Poemia, claims to be HD8425, has two screws instead of one, about 3/4 inches apart but there *is* a central hole as if this would be the same filter fitted to a different case. I didn't dare removing the filter without a tune up kit at hand yet... do you think you have such a tune-up kit? or is my Poemia somehow not "original"? (came with warranty a year ago so I guess it should be)

My screen fell out (hole enlarged over time) and left the screw in. The (Phillips) screw head is rather soft and so far is completely seized. I don't want to use WD40 or anything that might taint the coffee.... Any ideas?

Hi Ian! You could definitely try and use a food safe lubricant to try to get the screw out. You should be able to find that at a restaurant supply store or perhaps a hardware store. You can for sure buy it from us here: www.seattlecoffeegear.com/saeco-brew-unit-lubricant. Try that out and give us a call if there are anymore issues!
