How do you drop something harder? Dropping is when you release something to be at disposal of gravity.The 5s and 5c weigh about the same, so no difference there. Unless there was some extreme fluxiation in gravity, there will be no "dropping harder".

I had this too on my iphone 5c, their was green lines on my screen, your screen "died" cause when I dropped mine, there was only a little crack on the top but I couldn't use it cause the screen was dead. I called apple and they said that my screen was broken and they repaired it for approximately 110$, yeah it's very expensive

Shahad Miah drop test was obviously inaccurate! To make it a fair and accurate test, only one thing must be different. Looking at the video, we've noticed at least four things different. The phone, case, location each test was taken, and how the phone came in contact with the surface (face up, or down). Therefore, we are not 100% which is more capable of hard contacts. With my dad, he has the 5s, and it messed up for no apparent reason (and everywhere we went, no one could figure out what was wrong). With my Iphone 5c, I've dropped it many times (on accident), and the last one the screen shattered. We can tell both phones have flaws.

In a sense yes, that's what they are designed to do for the most part. However their main design it to prevent scratches and dents. Most likely they're might of been some cracking at one point but it wouldn't of shattered and if it did it would be held together so you would see cracks but it would be safe to use till you got it fixed.

On the above-head test, you dropped the 5c screen-down. That's why it was shattered. On the 5s, you didn't drop it screen-down. That's why the 5c was done for and the 5s was still in good condition.

I would get the 5s if you want a better camera, and a more "fancy" look. If you want a casual look I would get the 5c. I have the 5s and I love it so far.
