I have buyed 10 days before M2 mac.. It works all good for me as a cse student..... Pros: Good battery 🔋 Apple ecosystem Fast and smooth 8gb enough for cse student for coding. Cons: Not a oled screen due to which it looks normal on watching movies.. not so interesting.. Worst and slow speed on Sharing files from Android or another device (other than iPhone)

Namaste, this side Suman. I bought a MacBook M1 Air just a couple of months ago. In your video, you mentioned that it runs smoothly, but in my case, it heats up more than I expected when I run Docker, VSCode, and Brave browser simultaneously. You didn't mention these specific applications. How much heating is normal? In my case, the heating is a bit higher. Sometimes, even when I don't use Docker, it still heats up. I use it continuously for around 5 to 6 hours daily. Please respond!

Heating is normal as macbook air dont have any ventilation and the apps you are using are cpu intensive . In the end its APPLE heating till you feel any performance difference is just more than fine.

I'd say you still go with 8gb it's plenty as it uses swap memory and 8gb is sufficient for all you app development. The only field where it'll lack is at 4k 60fps mult video editing because of 16gb

I also bought base model, safari is effient so i use web shorcts, battery is 8 hr continue usage but i use it plugged in, ram is efficient if u dont open 20 apps aat same time then it lags, minimising apps will put then in sleep and no ram usage, dont leave them open, I don't use ssd, just enough for office work, screen size is bit small, i wish i could have bought 15 inch macbook air, now will upgrade to m5 macbook air only if new design
