I remember being floored at the ability to play PS1 or PS2 in a car with one of those clunky setups that had an LCD attached to a console, but I guess that was portable in a way. Amazing that phones in your pocket are powerful enough to run these games at playable framerates these days. They will only continue to get better too, and we'll start getting PS3/X360 or even PS4/XONE generation games playable on current hardware soon enough.

A fair few years ago, i was obsessed with emulation gaming. I had the Sony Xperia Play. It was amazing and i wish they continued that model line. The xperia play 10 would be amazing! I remember playing it and thinking wow this is amazing, while i played ps1 roms super laggy. Here i am with my s23 ultra with bluetooth controller playing flawless ps2 nintendo 3ds and gamecube games

I had the Xperia play also it was one of my favorite phones . I beat Castlevania symphony of the night with it for like the 5th time I used to love just flipping it open at random times to get some gaming in! I wish I never traded that phone in... But the 3g it had just didn't keep up with the times.. If only Sony would make a new version with 5G and the power of a PS3 or maybe PS4 I would run it for at least 4 years 😅

I tested some games with it. Metroid runs perfectly at 1080p, other 3D games too, 2D games are running pretty well. I wouldn't be able to BotW due incompatibility I imagine, even starts.

Hey man I have tried playing god of war 1 at 2.75x on my phone with snapdragon 870 . It runs flawlessly on that resolution but the phone heats up quickly and it becomes extremely hot . I have played god of war 2 at 2x resolution and it doesn't heat up even during long periods of gaming . I just wanted to ask that have you played god of war 2 at 3x resolution for over 20 mins and is it the same case with this new overclocked snapdragon 8gen 2 .

So amazing that phones are freaking PCs and will allow you to do pretty much whatever you want. I hope some day someone will release games made for consoles and PCs on phones so I don't need to buy a dedicated system for gaming! This hobby is just getting more and more expensive! And about what I said earlier, I know there are console and pc games natively on Android, but I mean more modern games, just like Apple did with Resident Evil Village and Death Stranding on their last iPhone. After all, high-tech phones have been more powerful than the Nintendo Switch for a while now.

Please test gc's WW with 60fps gecko codes enabled. I tried it on my us ver. S10e and it silky smooth in some dungeons without much action, but with alot going on screen it slows down. You can apply widescreen codes as well and HD textures

@@Techcravers yes. Android as in phone not tablet. Oh ok I figured I also tried it and it did really well. I plan on hopefully getting a s24 ultra especially since snapdragon 8 gen 3s cpu is going to have higher clocks on the smaller cores from performance I’ve seen on xiaomi 14 pro videos so it should be quite faster than snapdragon 8 gen 2 just off of that.

Peace of garbage cannot even support 60fps gaming on war robots my note 20 ultra did and fold 4 did this nope only 30fps.
