That little mic made a huge difference in the quality of your sound. That's a slick device, it did a great job with the noise cancellation.

Thanks so much for this detailed video! The wind-performance is insane. I also noticed that while the sound is clear, it's nowhere as full and rich/deep as your talking-head setup in the studio. Is that because you use a different mic and/or post-processing for the studio footage? Would be curious to see if the Hollyand sound can be brought to that level with different settings or simple post-processing

6:11 the choppy signal when turning around is interesting…I have never had that issue with the m2

Loved the M2's form factor too, but what kept holding me back was that it didn't let you record separate channels with the two transmitters. Does the new M2S let you do that?

I discuss that in the video - so hopefully you saw that. You’re able to do that with both but there are different conflations. Camera only on M2 and camera and cell on M2S

Gotta say this does look very cool AND useful too. A lot to like here but mostly the very small look when clipped on your shirt. Reminiscent of a small lav but better. Personally I didn't like the built-in noise cancellation but I typically don't on most of these. I edit in FCP and use the Voice Iso feature which, for me, is way better. Overall, great mic and overview too. Thanks!

I have Rode Pros, and DJI Mic 2. This hidden aspect is sick! It would be it if the receiver had internal audio and separate channel recording (pro features)! I still order it. Please stop with the kind muff outside. How many times have ended up in windy situations? That's a weather channel thing LOL ... Noise cancellation will be good enough. All that being said, I ordered it.

Thanks for the info - this does do separate channel recording - which I really like. Hey, the windscreen is great when you're outside and need it. I try to avoid wind of course, but sometimes you have no choice.

@TechGearTalk I need it so that when the sound is interrupted, it is recorded internal. I think this will be the next generation of this mic. Kinda Pro verison
