I really like the skullcandy Indy ANC tbh. It has a really long battery life and quite a good quality mediatek chipset for better connectivity. Using mine non stop since a while now...

Love the ANC until it started giving me problems not even three weeks later. The left bud would die considerably faster than the right bud an when you pull down the menu on IOS the left bud would shut off and won’t turn back on unless put back in the case. The audio on both buds would cut off briefly on occasion as well. Good thing they got a 2 year warranty.

I just picked up a pair at Costco on sale for $60. They sound nice, especially after setting them up with the personalized settings. My only problem is that the tap controls are insanely sensitive and impossible to keep track of. If it wasn't for the app I'd never know what mode they are in; and if I try to adjust them in my ear I always inadvertently change the volume, or pause them.

In Germany, they currently cost up to EUR 120 (USD 132). Electrical appliances are often (far) more expensive than in the US. However, my company offers many corporate discounts via a platform and the headphones were reduced to EUR 55 (USD 60). I bought them and didn't regret it. I find it unusual to talk on the phone with them (since they shield noise quite well even without ANC and you hear yourself damped and tend to talk louder) and they are also the first headphones that you tap to adjust, at least for the PC, because there is no app. I hear far worse in my left ear and after setting up the sound profile, I literally wanted to cry because the sound experience is perfect - I can finally enjoy music again. 😍 I guess you forgot to mention "Tiles"? Pretty convenient to search your buds if one is missing. 🤭

Thank you I appreciate it bro! The APP is not necessary for the Fuel's in my opinion. You can't do much besides see the battery life, turn on/off ambient mode, and see what EQ mode the earbuds are in. You do have access to quick start guides and stuff like that but you can't switch the EQ modes from the app or create a custom sound profile like you can with the Indy ANC's.

I only had mine for a week and things are pretty weird or bad now. The left side kept cutting out when I went out for a walk and sometimes they both cut out for a second or two causing the audio lag.

@@boxmx1246 honestly I like the Evo better than the ANC. The EVOS are louder but the Ancs have some really good quality noise cancelling. If your looking to save a few bucks go with the EVOS. The only real difference between them is the noise cancelling. Both are really loud and block out the background. They also stay in your ears unlike most headphones. If I were you I'd go with the Evo

Supposedly got off the phone with a Rep. They are the same thing but changed their name rights so what they have with anc needs the fuel name. Kinda qoerd considering on the Canadian site they are $20 cheaper. Also only getting them on the skullcandy site because of discount code but definitely best to get at Costco with the extanded warranty from Costco

I've had these for a little while now, and the call quality significantly reduces when I use them outdoors. The other side can here all of the noises that goes on around me a little too much that every time, I had to turn these off so I can talk on the phone without all of the random noises interrupting... Also, I think they only pair with one device at a time, and once they are paired, you can only use that device with your ear buds, else you'll have to reset them in order to pair them with another device. I personally like to use mine both with my phone and laptop, but with these, I was not able to do so...

Buds plus do not have anc. It has the ambient mode which has a couple levels, which is nice. If you get a good fit with the galaxy buds plus they sound good but not having anc good. I had the OG indy earbuds and they kept dropping out in high traffic areas. Your milage may vary hopefully the new models are better

I have both and I like both for different things. Ambient mode is where the Galaxy Buds+ rock. The Skullcandy are where I really appreciate the ANC and it is good.

probably the only beef I have with the anc's is that the controls are not reconfigurable in the app, but they are for the grind fuel. but I don't like the membrane type switches on the fuel, so you really can't win

Did you ever have issues while using them? I just bought some and while listening with them, one ear will drop for a brief moment and come back. It's annoying. They will also go out of sync. I'm thinking of returning and getting a new pair. I love skull candy but I feel these could be defective.

It should but I am having troubles connecting with an iPad while they work perfectly with my iPhone. These are so much better than iPods and I picked mine up for just under $90 at Costco, so I can buy another pair or look at Sony or Bose.
