This is a great phone! I used my friends 5s for an entire week, and I can honestly say that this little dude delivers a very snappy experience. The new iOS looks nice, and it doesn't really feel bloated with useless things. However, it doesn't really compete against other android devices. Sure, it has a powerful CPU that performs better than the GS4, but it doesn't take advantage of said power! It's still the same old Apple iPhone with their restrictive anti-consumer policies. That's why I left iPhone's. I used to be an iPhone only user. Then I made the switch over to the GS3, and I never looked back. Android is AMAZING for people who really want to get the juice out of their devices. + the big 720p-1080p screens are gorgeous. But there's one thing that I really miss about my iPhone... and that is the ''built quality''! The ''GalaxyS'' phones feel awfully cheap in the hand. It doesn't feel like I have a powerful flagship device! I tried other phones like the HTC One (awesome btw) but the whole non-removable battery & no SD card slot killed it for me. Hopefully Samsung will start making phones with better built quality. I wish they would release a ''premium'' variant of their phones. That would be awesome. Before you go ahead and get your ''keyboard warrior'' jacket on, let me tell you this: THIS IS MY OPINION. I don't take sides with companies! I just buy whatever I feel suits my need. If you feel like the 5s is the phone for you, then GO AHEAD, and buy it. This comment is not supposed to make you change your mind about iPhone's. I just wanted to share my experience with this phone, and why I prefer GS4/other android devices over it. Cheers.

Looks like this phone is the same as mine. I just got the 5s and it has a slight amount of lag when opening and closing apps. I'm about to return it and get a new one. My 5 is smooth as butter so this one should be better bit worse. It might be the video but yours does have that animation lag doesn't it?

Of course I have. But to get the great life I now enjoy, you have to learn how money works and the value of it. Not just expect everything for free from your parents or by begging. Because let people live that way from an early age and by the time they are 30, they will still expect it free. Like I said, Walkie talkies are for kids. There is no purpose for a child to have a Smartphone. Use a payphone. Yes they still exist too. And one thing I enjoyed that certainly doesn't exist now, is real people. It's like Zombie world now. Everyone is staying at home and living a life behind a computer, no social skills. Social losers. Playing XBOX games, thinking this is real life. When the real world is outside, not on your TV screen. While I am here, I would also like to see KZbin start to charge a Subscription for Video uploaders, much like Vimeo has done for years. Make them pay, then the Freeloaders leave. Thus leaving the genuine people here and reducing the scum. Because if there is one thing we know, the world is full of cheapos and parasites. You cant get a job right then and there. There is high competition for jobs. Kids aren't what people are looking for most of the time. Also kids are taken advantage of when having a job most of the time. In this society today, having a job as a child is not something you should focus on. Its their choice to sit around and do what they want with their life. You can change someone. For instance trying to change an atheist to Christianity (i am not a religious person). Its not something you can just say and then that person will do it. Its their own life to do whatever they want to do with it. If they want to sit and play on their smartphone then so be it. They can face the consequences that they know will come. Although i may be 15 and have a job at a fast food place (hate it to death) i do sit around a lot playing video games for fun xD my way of socializing with people. Its a great opportunity to meet people from across the world (Canadians). Life is perfect as it is now. Don't come and tell people what they should do. Just not worth your time typing what you have to say when people are just gonna hate and disagree. Some people say words can change peoples minds. But in most cases it doesn't (unless its your parents telling you to get up off your ass and to get a job). :) spends those minutes doing what you love instead xD whether it be watching youtube videos or playing video games :D

The PMR and LPD walkie talkies were created for a reason kids. Play with them and leave the phones for the Adults who actually buy them with their own money and are not being a parasite living off parents. And parents, you need to put your foot firmly down. I was thinking of getting rid of my Samsung and buy an iPhone, since I have an iPad Mini, iPad 2, iPod Touch 4th & 5th gen and one of those tiny iPods I thought it'd be easier to use. Since the newer ones are more expensive, I was going to either choose the iPhone 5 or 5s. I read a comparison on a website, but I wanted to see for myself without wasting money. This helped alot!

Good review; my 8gb 4 is up for replacement per contract today; going to get the 5S. Looking forward to it, ios7 on the 4 is sssslow, and Apple seems to introduce 4 specific bugs with every update (particularly with wifi) that I can live without. Probably on purpose to make me go buy the new hardware.
