Love the thought and care that SS has put into its products. Truly a customer-oriented company. 👍💯

I'm honestly a big fan of hearing the shop noises in the background. It makes the video feel more real, or like your not just the face of the company.

Thanks for this video Traver. This is the problem I was having with my MR920L shadow systems pistol. I was getting 3 lite strikes on every 15 round magazine. But! I think it was my own fault. I mess up, when cleaning my pistol after the 1st 200 rounds and before my 1st time out of the box. I lube down into the firing pin shaft where it sits down into the slide. I think that end up building up WAY to much derby and I actually found three small pieces of brass in the slide where the firing pin sits in the slide.

Great and informative video. Can you please do a video like this one on how to reverse the magazine release on an MR920 for a left-handed shooter Trevor?

Important to note that Shadow Systems own pistol pins are round shaped and will not work in other brands which are rectangular.

I have a DR920 and and MR920. Both came with grey firing pins. My DR920 spring had some wear down the sides of the lug and eventually broke at the lug while dry firing. It was replaced by the green striker assembly and after 5 months is still showing no wear. My MR920 has a grey striker assembly and is also showing wear in the same position of the lug. Should be interesting to see how long it will last.

my early model mr920s firing pin snapped in half in dryfire. real shame because i do love shooting these guns. i'm sure the kinks have been worked out, but that is not the case for my gun. and i'm not having the easiest time getting my issues addressed. good guns now. just wish i hadn't supported the company so fast before they worked their kinks out.

After around 1k rounds my mr920 still have a lot of issue with S&B primers. 🤷🏼🤷🏼 tested the same amo with g19 and works fine…

Maybe I missed this, but I'm curious on your new pins, the nose is so much shorter than oem Glock, meaning the amount of pin after the cups is so much shorter than your earlier pins and the Glock OEM pins, is there a reason for this design? Love what you guys are doing and love the nickel Teflon addition, I've tried nickel boron dlc titanium nitride, nickel tef, has always been the best imo.

Can you add a return spring to the first gen firing pin?
@GG_BEATS Жыл бұрын
All 3 of my shadow guns firing pins have excessive wear behind the pin not on the pin itself. My glock firing pin has 0 wear and it has the same amount of rounds. Im wondering what my pins are rubbing against, because ive never taken them out ever.

Hello, I have an MR920 combat all black. Just watched this video its a very good one and taught me 1 thing and that about the spring not set with the slots. .Never heard of this. very cool I know now. Just removed the firing pin from the gun and mine does not have that gray dot at all. Should I worry about this? or no worries? let me know please? Thank you in advance Tim

Firing pin return spring... Can that be used in a gen3 P80 build? I assume it lowers trigger pull weight.

I am extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service with Shadow Systems. Over the past couple years I have purchased 7 Shadow Systems pistols, DR,MR, CR,XR most of them War Poet models. Two of the seven have failure to feed properly issue from the barrels not having enough clearance. I have emailed and called Shadow System several times. I've only gotten to talk to someone once and I have had to leave messages the rest of the times. I have not gotten one phone call back. I sent a video of the issue showing the problem and verified the issue by swapping barrels with my other SS pistols. Here we are a month or so later and nothing but silence! I don't like to leave bad reviews but if I don't get any response from SS what am I to do???

Hi Joe, my team sent you an email asking for a copy of your ID so they could create a return shipping label for you on February 23rd and didn’t get a response. If you could please send a copy of your id back to that email address, support@shadowsystemscorp.com, they can get that taken care of for you! If you’d like to speak with someone on the phone first, please email us with your call back number-email is much easier for my team to track than voicemails as it creates an automatic ticket and we can ensure we have all info.

As a shadow systems mr920 owner. My favorite gun by far by the way. Can we just thank the fucking CEO of the company for making videos to help out other owners of the SS pistol. No other company (gun company) does this. Plus don't you guys still have the policy that if you use it in a self defense shooting and it's a real self defense situation you will replace it free of charge? Is that still a thing and does that apply to civilians too?? Thank you guys yall rock.
