Technical Tuesday: Kaboom! How does the MR918 handle a squib load?

I had the honor and privilege of meeting both of these guys today. I had an issue with my pistol that was my problem not the gun. I drove over with an appointment and everyone was so kind. Richie was a huge help and I can say their Customer Service if Over the TOP! If you are a Glock fan or a 1911 fan you will I’ve Shadow Systems. As a 1911 shooter for 35 years they won me over in about a month.

This gun is a game changer, I have handled this gun and it is very well thought out. Congratulations and keep it coming next in line 43x shield arms has a 15 round flush fit yes I said flush fit that could be a game changer. Can you please com out with the 43x with all the shadow systems knowledge.

I have the MR918 Combat and it's everything I always wanted a Glock to be.

Does barrel have polygonal rifling or your traditional lands and grooves?

Good day Sir, my MR918 has an issue with mag insertion. The inside of the front strap is a different design than that of the Glock. There is a void that when you insert the mag not exactly straight in, will get caught up in that void. Have you heard of this before?

Hi Aaron, thanks for sharing this information. This is not something we've heard of before. That area of the frame should be flat and smooth and is inspected during molding. Perhaps you could email us a picture of what you are seeing so we can better understand the issue? Please send to [e-mail] and one of our techs will get back to you within 24 hours. 2 questions 1 whats the warranty and 2. Does it take regular glock mags

Hi Richard. Our official warranty period is 5 years. With that said, we are truly dedicated top notch customer service and our response to your questions is "give us a call if you need something, we'll get you taken care of." Yes, it is compatible with Glock factory magazines.

Frank Zumpano thanks for letting us know. We occasionally hear that certain suppressor and load combinations short stroke. Our testing has primarily been with silencerco suppressors and full power 147 loads. What load and suppressor combination are you using? Please give us a call we would be happy to get you up and running. There are a variety of remedies.

Will this pistol fit in glock holsters?

Hector Mendivil yes, it will fit the vast, vast majority of GLOCK 19 holsters. The exceptions are rare.

@@ShadowSystemsCorp I have the MR920 with Holosun 507c - it fits beautifully in Tier 1 Axis slim for g19, but is super snug (undeployable) in Ronin OWB; first-hand experience, fwiw.
