Thank you so much for this video. My thermostat was pulling room temp from somewhere else and myself and the technician who installed couldn't figure it out (not thrilled about THAT). This video saved the day!

Thanks for making this video. I've spent hours trying to figure out how to change which thermistor the unit uses on the PAR40 controller and this is the only place that's answered that question. Great video, much appreciated.

Thank you! I could not determine how to change which temperature sensor was used for reading room temperature on the TAR-40MAAU controller/thermostat. As recently installed, it was using the unit/air handler sensor, and the the room temperature reading was very inaccurate. Even with the heat setting set as low as it would go to 63 F (Which is another problem, why can't I set the heat any lower than that?), the unit was heating to 74 F or more. Now that the room temp is using the sensor in the controller, the room temperature reading is accurate, and the system is heating to the correct temperature. None of the manuals helped. This was such a simple fix to get it working correctly, I am so glad I stumbled on this video.

The manual contains a description of the parameters MODE1 - MODE11, but not contains MODE12-MODE26

Mitsubishi and all other mini splits are so behind when it comes to user friendly UI. Why in the world they still use senseless code system when you can have all these settings programmed in plain English.

tell me what the parameters mean (MODE11 - MODE26)? I can't find a description anywhere.

Where is mode 25 and 27? to set the fan in standby in heating and cooling. Mine is constantly running at low speed, which is not needed in my setting with the remote thermister being used in the room, not in the air mover.

We have a city multi system, one condenser unit and about 15 indoor units. On the function settings “ Ref. address” default is 0. Should I change 0 to the unit M-net address? Like 1, 2 ,3 depending on what number assigned to each unit? Thanks

My fan is running all the time when I’m in cool mode, even when the temp is satisfied, is there a way to disable that?
