Thank you for making this video. It was helpful, and I appreciate the time you spent on it. Im coming from a Lenovo ThinkPad that was $700 that I got on sale for $500. Im not really a gamer, but I do a little video editing and I want to get more into it. I need a better laptop that will last me for years to come. Which laptop would you recommend? The one that you reviewed in this video or LOQ 15" AMD Ryzen™ 7 7840HS Processor (3.80 GHz up to 5.10 GHz)) with RTX 4050?

Get the i7 11th gen version with a 3060 gpu and you'll have around 120 FPS on warzone on high settings. This one seems kinda weak on his review.

i think he used the integrated graphics on accident cause from what ive seen the rx6600m and rtx 3060 are pretty comparable

why does omen software dont have a battery limiter ? ihave omen 15 2020 i7 10th gen rtx 2060 after 15 months of use the battery died

Love my 17" hp omen with the 11800h and 140w 3070. Had the asus g15 before the omen and it was a huge lemon with nothing but issues and poor quality control. But with a few mods on the omen its a very solid laptop at a very reasonable price.

How are the temps and the battery life? I'm really considering buying this laptop with the same config as yours but 3060

@@David-bs8ks temps are amazing. I personally don’t like them in the 70-80’s so I downloaded throttlestop and only allow boast clock of all 8 cores go to 3.7ghz and a -0.045v under-volt and the temps stay under 70c on the cpu 24/7 in game and out. The gpu never ever gets hot. It’s always under 70c even with a wild overclock of 2000+mhz on the memory and +175mhz on the clock. Added 10fps doing that in heavenly benchmark. And battery life I’ve never tested. It has always been plugged in. I’ve unplugged it one time to take it to the front room and forgot to plug it back in and was just surfing the web and thought I plugged it in but didn’t and tbh it was almost dead after like 45mins. But I also have my power management on max everything and in the omen app have i have the mux switch on discrete and on performance mode 24/7. That’s the way I like it for the best performance while only allowing the boost clock to be at 3.7ghz. And from 4.6ghz down to 3.7ghz I haven’t noticed no drop in frames at all. And that’s because of the 1440p resolution. At 1080p I’m sure I would see a difference being at 1080p it’s more cpu bound than gpu bound. It’s a solid computer for me so far. I see horror stories with people having issues with it but tbh I see that with every single brand of laptops so it’s probably just the luck of the draw.

I played warzone on my RX 6800M platform and once scored 40 kills in solo mode, normally 20 more kills in squad mode. A word of advice, frame rates mean a lot of things.

I just got one and it seems to get hot and a lot of fan noise. Even frame drop on playing games like overwatch. It dropped from like 130fps to like 30
