I bought a pair of your og slim 6’s. Took it out on my kayak in a crystal clear lake I fish that had big ones in it. First place I started throwing it last week my first fish of the day was a 5&1/2 pounder. My 4th fish was a freakin rainbow trout! I’d say it works pretty good! It’s a great crank and has produced very well so far. Thanks for building good stuff!

Hey Ott, is there a difference in actions between the carbonlite, signature series and platinum rods bass pro sales?

Yes they are all slightly different. The platinum are a faster action in general. Better for jigs, soft baits etc, carbonlite are more moderate better for spinnerbait, buzz bait, even cranks and top water, then the signature is kind of in between from my experience.

When the water is in the 40 degree range but muddy would you still throw a jerkbait?

Yes. I did well recently around here in 46-47 degree water with about 1’ vis on a jerk bait. The biggest thing then in my opinion is not fishing it too deep, and dont make your pauses very long. Short twitches not moving the bait far and 1-2 second pauses.

At the rate we're going with FFS. For us older guys, prepare to get your butt handed to ya if you're not using a swim bait - spinning rod- and a neck brace to support your head while you look down at a screen all day against these 20 somethings who has never fished a pocket or took the time learn how to skip a dock (with the exception of a few ppl at the top level)
