Thank you for posting! My dog is great when it comes to brushing and trimming but when it comes to nails, he hates it. He has black nails so I can't see where the quick is. I used clippers before but I made him bleed a couple times. I just can't do clippers anymore because I have PTSD of hurting him again. He doesn't bite but just squirms and pulls back with all his might. This video helped a lot! Thank you again for posting!

Another excellent video. We need to be in the position as the alpha. I just started grooming my dog at home and his first groom was crazy. Lol The guard flipped off and he has this one patch where I cut him too low. 🤣 And he hates his nails to be trimmed, so I'm definitely getting that Dremel. Your tips are really encouraging me. Thank you!

If she hates it that much maybe just clip her nails.

She reacts worse to the nail clippers plus I have a bigger chance of cutting them too short and they will still end up with sharp edges.

The only pressure on her neck is any she creates. It won't hurt her. What WILL hurt her is too long of nails causing excess pressure on her joints, or growing so long they grow into her pads.
