5:30 QD-OLED still actively has a burn-in issue. W-OLED slightly less so, but users and consumer reports agencies are definitely still reporting these issues even on recent displays. Manufacturers have a track-record of lying about this, so you should make sure their warranty backs the claim - do NOT expect the monitor to last much longer than the warranty. This monitor has a 3 year warranty. I've had to throw away too many OLED screens with "trust me bro" warranties already to believe this unsubstantiated, unqualified manufacturer-babble. OLED isn't a new technology, and the this issue is a long-standing tradeoff. Rest of the review is great. This is an exciting product.

technically it's not burn-in in oled...there's no phosphorus to burn into...but since the results are so visually similar, I totally get why it's gotten common to call it that

There a plenty of burn-in prevention features in recent displays, if one makes use of them and with some common sense and care these monitor can last more than their warranty periods.

This is 4th gen QD OLED with another blue Emitting layer, Burn in is almost non existent in normal use especially with all oled care features enabled!

At least before this generation QD OLED monitors had their drawbacks like not-really-black blacks, poor text clarity and more prominent burn-in. So QD-OLED wasn't the best option in all use cases. I really hope they solved everything with this one. Let's wait for the full review.

You will almost not see any difference on 27inch between QHD and UHD. The sweetspot for UHD monitor is 32inch.

I have 5k and 4k 27inch monitors and I do see the difference when I work. But if I watch movies or play games it's really VERY difficult to spot a difference between 5k 4k, and even QHD. It's still a mystery to me why people play games in real 4k on a laptop or 27inch monitor. GPU Power should be invested in a better anti-aliasing like DLSS instead or higher frame rate.

asus is mooooooore better. First, sorry for my english. Now, asus have the same panel and caracteristics but you need agree one sensor to put off automatically the monitor when you go to bathroom, and dolby vision. msi dont have any diferenciative caracterisitique. for this reason, i dont recomend buy msi monitor for more than 800€
