All those pcm sheets are amazing specially for laptop that reach easily 100°c, because they don't pump out like most thermal pastes. The only thing you have to be careful with is that when you take them out (it should last years according to manufacturer) because when they're cold they get really dry and hard (like really old thermal paste, even worse), so warm up the gpu before doing that.

I was surprised at how good this stuff worked out. I will keep using it.

@@TechnologyHive You can also try some thermal putty for the vrm and vrams (Not the blue one lol) cx h1300 (cheap and seller says it last 3 years) or upsiren utp8, both good.

@@Luissebb That's good to know. I have a trusty seller on AliExpress I like to buy from. I'll order the Honeywell and Upsiren puddy at the same time, since I have been wanting to try both. Good tips!

actually, it getting hard like dried thermal paste when cold is a plus. It makes it extremely easy to clean off CPUs and coolers because it just flakes off. When I switched CPU coolers the cleanup only took about 30 seconds and 99% of the ptm7950 just scrapped off really easily using a plastic spudger.
@NonLegitNation228 күн бұрын
just bought two 40 x 40 pads of this. I think I bought some fake ptm7950 off Amazon so I'm going to try this. I figure since they are a reputable company then I can trust they aren't going to give me fake ptm7950. The instructions recommend applying it to the cooler then waiting 3 mins and peeling off the plastic backing, I'm not going to do that. I'm going to apply it the same way you do any other ptm7950 by putting it in the fridge for about a half hour, peeling the backing and applying to the cpu, then peeling the other piece of plastic right away.

I got very different result, I put Heilos on my cpu & gpu laptop, the result I got thermal throttle on Intel XTU stress test. I checked online people got a good result, maybe in case there is not enough contact pressure between the cooling block and the cpu/gpu.

I have not experienced any issues with Heilos. Works great so far :)

@@TechnologyHive thanks for the reply, maybe pcm needs higher contact pressure than thermal paste

What happened to the other video with the reballed GPU? I swear something was posted yesterday.
@TechnologyHive5 ай бұрын
I had to remove the video because I did not like how it came out. I didn't record the reball process nor the problems I was experiencing with the card. It was too vague, IMO.

@@Rose.Of.Hizaki it is a different material made by a different company, the thickness of real PTM 7950 is .25mm, this one states it is only .20mm thick.
