Fr if people are willing to spend close to 2k on a phone, put the best specs you can all around. Like the front facing camera, and main cameras all need to be s24 ultra level or better. Samsung should try to push the z fold as their best phone more.

How much people have you seen? I honestly believe I am a fold magnet. I've seen about 13-15 people. I think a girl in the movies sitting in front me at the movies had one, but I didn't want to ask her. It looked like a slimmer screen. I'm not sure if any other Samsung's are that slim.

@ Well, then, they aren’t going to sell more. Idk what the margin is for a Z Fold, but if it’s pretty high, it may be beneficial to cut the cost, slightly, to sell more. Consumers are very price-conscience, so a couple hundred dollars could make a huge difference.

I’m guessing 7-8 years ago when Samsung asked partners and shareholders to fund this new device they probably had a specific earnings they were expecting. With them falling short year in and year out, they can’t afford to cut prices. I said it before, foldables will be out by 2030. Foldables already hit a decrease in sales already for the first time.

I'm an ABSOLUTE DEVOTEE to the S-pen as i was a Galaxy Note series Zealot, and recently converted to the Z Fold 6 which is Awesome to me, i see alot of ppl complaining about the size of the outer screen but it's absolutely perfect for me as i don't have the biggest hands and fits perfectly in my hands when texting as i can reach every letter on my keyboard, and thorough when closed it's much smaller and thinner than my Note it's quickly ratified when I open my phone to a tablet, and honestly you can get one at ridiculously low price at this time. So I would suggest to anyone if you're interested in something a little different Give it a try I'm very happy with mines thus far‼️

I am a faithful ultra 24 user but i was walking when the fold 6 caught my while shopping for a phone for my daughter. It was beautiful and made se se to me. But she pointed at the ugly fold in the middle and said eeewwwa and why would the phone have that down the middle. After seeing the special edition and the other fold phones, i believe samsung has some lame production cycle they are on to maximize profit. They are not putting the s pen in and fixing the crease to keep people buying expensive iterations of an empty promise of a good phone. They did this with the note 7. So like the gentle man that said he wasnt buying the phone until they put the s pen in and fix the ugly ass crease, bring doqn the price below a lenovo p16, brand dam new....Samsung can kiss my.....closed man purse

i took them up on the zfold6 black Friday offer. traded in my aging zfold4. got 1100$ for it. zfold6 512 to my door for like 460$. 7yrs software, new battery, better internals, and a travel tablet in a pinch. hard to pass up. i had no intention of buying the 6, but for that price, why not. I'm happy with the camera. but the spen needs to work on the outside screen, and should be dockable like the S Ultra phones, a 5000mah battery would be nice too. many things to cram in a phone that also needs to shrink in size lol. dex is awesome, never lose dex. you'll miss it.

size is the problem....I got a $800 promotion and $700 trad in on a $300 paid phone. So I paid a real $750 for the fold 6... then I sold it for $750 because I didn't like it.

I don't have and haven't had a foldable. I nearly got a used fold last year but, I am unimpressed by the hardware that samsung offers on the lineup. S-pen support is important to me for sure and compared to what we have seen oneplus/oppo do with their first gen in the US, it is hard to stomach how little samsung has progressed since the 3. Also not a fan of Samsung being more forceful in locking features down to their ecosystem. Android was meant to be open ...

Great content as usual! The S-Pen is a must-have, even if rarely used. As you said, there is no point for a tablet without a stylus input. In our day and age, It's like having a car infotainment large screen without touch input where you have to use buttons only..

Very rarely use my spen on my fold 6. I've had folds 3, 4, 5, and 6. 6 is my favorite. I like the size of the front screen (I know I'm strange). Use it more than inner. Love being able to use inner for streaming and websites etc. I will not be upgrading to the 7 this time. Because; 1) mediocre improvements. 2) It sounds like they might ruin the front screen for me. 3) MOST IMPORTANTLY, twice I've had to fight for my trade in credit, saying they received an empty box. Too stressful done with it. FYI, I also have the s24 ultra, but fold 6 is my go-to.

Great content. If Samsung wants to separate itself from the rest, they need to make the folding screens out of 2 thin sheets of gorilla glass that come together via locking hinge, that when lock in feels like one piece of gorilla glass. But that's just me.

External screen size should be the same as the s24 ultra & have similar camera set up. Basically an s 24 that unfolds to make a small tablet. Also find a way to cram a bigger battery in to it even if it increases the thickness. It should have similar battery life to s 24 ultra. Also retain the s pen.

The mistake that they can committed was to not widen the Z fold 6. I use it but it could have been wider on cover screen. We had anticipated a wider cover screen than it is now.

Speaking as a current Fold user, what Samsung needs to do to get people hyped about Folds is quite simple: -Use the Special Edition Fold as the foundation for the Fold 7 -Give it the best Samsung phone camera -Integrate the S-Pen into the design It makes absolutely no sense that Samsung's most expensive flagship phone doesn't have all their latest and greatest tech/hardware.

Starting my 7th year with my still-wonderful Note9. S-pen rarely ever used. Pretty much the only time I ever touch it is when I have to find and stick it back in when it pops out from dropping the phone!

Tbh, I wanted the 23u but was hesitant about samsung due to a ton of moves I was unsatisfied with but couldn't kick the thought due to Samsung TV and laptop and watch but if I wasn't already deep in the ecosystem or if Google Pixel would have offered more storage or bigger battery let alone ram in the previous gen, I would have jumped on it. Not to mention had they introd the Pixel Pro with their top specs minus the oversized screen of plus I woulda got that previous gen. Then the 23u to 24u didn't impress me and by that point, I had a wandering eye for One Plus 12. That, combined with life being stressful and demanding my mental energy and indecisiveness regarding deals and always being a step late due to life etc, I'm still on this Note 9. The sd card also prevents me from being so quick to jump into a random deal. At this point, Idk what ima do. Really still tempted to jump into OnePlus 12 16gb 512gb model or maybe the OP 13. I'm kinda over the galaxy watch and haven't moved on any tablets and lady may still drives a iPad and will probably either get a Pixel 9 Pro (non plus) or a Galaxy 24u, maybe even a 25u, even though she wants a fold (which may end up in her getting a One Plus Open or even their next gen Open. This whole new tech mess has had me gun shy and when the 9 still holds up, its just been too easy to rest on my SD storage while I still can. Best of luck out there.

Zf6 was my first foldable I really paid a lot and only a few months later it was half price and Samsung released a SE in Korea with an amazing camera. Samsung needs to innovate between releases, maybe go on a 2 year cycle idk but it's painful watching your purchase deprecating in only 2 months

The spen is a well implemented feature...it's nice to use once in a while but most people are just gonna leave it in there. For people like you, who use it for business and such the pen is great for signing documents, and using it for the camera and all that...but just like most things people don't really use their product to the fullest

I had been a samsung user since the Note series was introduced. I finally purchased another brand when the OnePlus Open came out( switched for the fold 4). In my humble opinion their (Samsung's) problems are self-inflicted, simply not giving the customers what they asked for in the fold series. Also at this price point yearly upgrades don't make since.

I think Oxygen Os is just as good if not better. I'll go as far to say it is now and has been the best foldable we can get in America (without Importing) since it was introduced.

I've had the s24 ultra since launch and the S Pen is indispensable for me. In my case I mostly use it for quick notes or ideas (which is frequent) writing down a to do list for the day or names and contact info. This caters to me because I still prefer writing things as opposed to typing them. As for Dex, I wouldn't say its irreplaceable, but I do find my self using it frequently to watch media or type some work up while I'm away from my computer. I have a folding keyboard in my bag that I carry around just in case 😁 but again I realize most people that I know don't even use or know it.

I actively despise the s-pen. I'd much rather have an S25 ultra that has a bigger battery. Even the hole at the base of the phone makes the phone more uncomfortable to hold.

Samsung finally listens and gives us the z-fold 6SE with pen support definitely upgrade from my z-fold 5 to the ZF7 I actually ordered fold six with the option to trade-in z5 and decided it wasn't that much difference and sent it back.

Problem is the phone is essentially the same every year with zero innovation. Same small screen on the front. It's too small to use permanently if something went wrong with the inner screen, which u CAN do with the Google, Oneplus, Honor, Vivo, Oppo, Realme foldables. The OTHER issue is that Samsung refuses to fix any inner phone screen issues if there is ANY scratch or mark on the phone. People get burnt by this.

Price the fold at 1300 to 1400, smack the same cameras that the ultra has on it, minimize the crease significantly, keep the S pen and make both screens bigger.
