Nobody are using their phones for 7 years. #1. Battery degrades so the battery won't come close to lasting that long. I see some people with a 2 year old iPhone that has a degraded battery so much that they need to carry a portable charger to last a day. Screen naturally degrades over time too. #2. People are pretty much changing their phone every 1-3 years as trade-ins and good deals are regularly found especially around Black Friday. I have Pixel and Google phones and that isn't good enough battery life for me in year 1. I can't imagine with regular use in past year 3. Forget year 5-7.

Software support is killing that brand, even with their high end phones. That's why I walked away, even though I like the brand.

BlackBerry wasn’t worried about Apple and see where that got them. You’re just showing your ignorance.

Poor software updates and fast depreciation because of that, are what holds these phones back.

Should Apple and Samsung be worried about the Razr+? For Apple, I would say yes because Apple no longer sells the iPhone mini. The Razr+ would be an excellent choice for those who prefer smaller phones. For Samsung, I say yes and no. Yes, because Samsung needs to make a larger cover display, add 120 Hz refresh rate to the cover display, and add a telephoto lens. No, brcause Hello UI cannot beat One UI in terms of features.

I don't know what level sheepism I fall under I like my iStuff. I'm in the ecosystem by choice and tbh I don't see anything that fits my user profile I would leave for. I like Samsung the 23 Ultra was one the best devices I used it just isn't for me long term

Apple users tend to get locked into the apple ecosystem with no easy way to upgrade to android based phones. Also, older people tend to be so used to the way their apple phone works and are scared of change.

Unfortunately the hinge is shit and doesn't last as long like the flip from Samsung flip and the UI is better and the updates as well which Motorola doesn't have.

@BigAsHell711 That's what it was for me too. I've always loved Motorola plus Samsung is too overpriced with less. It's just my personal experience. Only thing Motorola lack is monthly updates and security patches. Other than that I love Motorola

@@kamontaehill681you can program 12 gestures, your power key, and you can program a double tap or triple tap to perform actions. I don't get what the argument was.
