I love the base Pixel 9. I am not a huge camera user so the extra camera is not a big issue. I think since they bumped up the price they should have added the vaper chamber. My only regret is that I went with the Winter green in stead of the Peony, Winter green is nice but by all accounts the Peony is so much more vibrant.

Nice video. Very nice looking phones, I do have one issue with the. It’s a great phone today but everyone I know with any prior pixel tells me after 6 to 9 months the phones slow down and some have QC problems. Most people can only buy and use one phone every 1-3 years. To take a chance on Google seems crazy to me. They need a few years of proving they have gotten it together. They do look great I think they are the best looking Android phone as of today.

I've had my p7p since '22. It hasn't slowed down a bit. It can physically take a beating, my nieces have put it through the paces, and it has survived them. I don't like the updates sometimes, they mess with the phone, but it tends to straighten itself out after a few hours/days. The thing that bothers me most is the typing. I often have to retype words, because the letters can drag when I type fast.

love the balance between the two. p9 isn't neutered so much it feels like a kids phone. but pro is just enough above that the price feels worth it, and for most really is. prices suck, but i haven't paid more than $100 for a new phone in 5 years or so with the sales and deals and all that. if they keep doing that i'm fine with it.

Still loving using my S24 as my daily phone. I also carry a IPhone 13 mini with me daily. Before that I was an LG guy. I had a LG G2, G3, G4, G5, G6, G7, V30, V60, and the G8. Used to love those leather backs on the G4, but the battery life sucked big time. The full screen earpiece on the G8 turned me off on LG. I also had a Pixel 7, just didn't like it as much as the Samsung phones. Thank you for your review, it was very informative! It is nice the see Google stepping it up with their devices. In the US, you have Trade-in deals. Does not exist in Sweden. For the cheapest 9 Pro XL the price is around 1400£. A "simple" Pixel 9 is 1050$. With a carrier plan you pay 950$ + monthly fee for the XL and for the common 9 700$ + monthly. So regular Trade-ins, not in Sweden and not in Germany where you was for 2 weeks ago. Regards Lennart

The deals seem to be rolling out already, at least with some carriers. AT&T was running a promo for $500 off the XL recently. Between that and the trade in value they gave me for my old phone im paying $0 a month on a carrier agreement. As to the base model Pixel 9, my nephew got one and he didnt get a overheat warning on it but he said when he was taking video at a baseball game (Texas weather amiright?) it got really, really toasty.

I "side-graded" by going from the Pixel 6 Pro to a Pixel 9. The Pixel 9 is a FANTASTIC phone with great performance. I do miss the telephoto but the 8x digital is not bad for my needs. I love having a "compact" phone again and I appreciate the brighter display.

People are always asking me what kind of phone I have. Everyone around me either has one of the iPhone pros or various Samsungs. I don't know many people who have the Pixel.

Bro, I think you are spot on with this video. My pixel 9 pro XL is definitely more enjoyable to use than my s24 ultra in terms of fluidity with the UI. I noticed with my s24 ultra and z-fold 6 a little judder right when you touch the screen before a scroll. I didn't even know that it was happening until I picked up a pixel and realized how smooth it was. I think Google it did super awesome this year with The pixel. Samsung on the other hand, needs to tighten up and have their user interface feel just as good as the pixel.

If the pixel 9 pro had the snapdragon 8 gen 3 or 4. Pure Android OS with one of the best chipsets. I would call it the king of android phones. I would ditch Samsung and Apple in a heartbeat.

@@devilkazumi578I own the device and trust me brother, if you want to play those games like ZZZ or WW you can but at best the device will handle those at low to medium settings at 30 fps with dips here and there, and boy you gotta run a cooler with it otherwise it’ll get hot quickly like the early days of iPhone 15. Also I really wanted to rock the pixel only as a daily single phone, but because I game a lot on my phone I went and got the iPhone 16 pro max and it runs excellent on ultra settings of those games

Idk broooooo, the s24 ultra screen makes me feel like I actually have something premium now. Used for a few months, no microscratches no case or screen protector, the limited reflections. Everytime I use it I am an awe how good it looks. Indoors and out. The only phone I feel comfortable using without protection. Going in raw Everytime I use it feel great 😅

I think the base model pixels are the best in my opinion.i got the 8 over the pro don't regret it for a second like he says u only miss a couple of things the telephoto lens and the extra couple gigs of ram that's it for the everyday guy it's enough.

I traded in my Pixel Fold for the pink Pixel 9. I just didn't trust the longevity of the Pixel Fold. Plus the phone connection was terrible . I'm loving the 9. Just took Sim card out of Motorola razr 24 plus. Both great phones!

This sold me on waiting. I ordered a Pixel 9 at the beginning of September. FedEx Ground is absolute garbage and they destroyed the package before it was delivered. Chat support for Google was horrendous and after 2 weeks of going back and forth they refunded my order instead of just replacing the damaged phone (I didn't break it). I traded in my Pixel 7 while this happened, so I will just bank the trade in credits and wait until Black Friday / Cyber Monday and get the phone for cheaper. I will just suffer with an old Pixel 5 for now. This will be my next phone for sure though.

The pixel 8 I had was the worst phone I ever owned unfortunately. Problems with echo when calling people. EE sent a replacement phone which had the same problem. A phone you can’t call people on! Terrible. Gone back to iPhone - a bit beige but everything works. Never pixel again for me

The difference in the way each product is treated is noticeable. Tech KZbinrs have been treating iPhone 16 like dads treat their sons with tough love, meanwhile Pixel 9 gets the "my babygirl can do no wrong" daughter treatment.

I had to exchange my s24 ultra for iPhone 15 pro coz the size was really too huge for me.. I started getting shoulder aches just holding it for 30-40mins while lying down… It’s an amazing phone but it’s absolutely too huge specially for women… Like we can’t hold a brick all the time.. They don’t fit in our bags, it’s beautiful technology but we need ergonomics as well.. I wish next iteration they come out with an ultra mini or something the size of the regular s24 like the iPhone pro series has..
