Just got the s23+. I like the form factor, flat display, and don't need the s-pen and the size is more favorable compared to the ultra. Was able to get a decent promotion with my carrier. I noticed another reviewer mentioned the 23 plus was $850usd which is a really good deal if the prices have gone down in the USA recently, but I agree at $1000usd it isn't as enticing.

I gave up on the Plus this year after Samsung did not make the S23 Plus with LTPO Display or a least QHD+ Display. I traded in the S22 Plus for the S23 Ultra this year but I prefer the S23 Plus design any day. I just can't understand why phone manufacturers do not make a smaller android phone with LTPO Display, Telephoto Camera and the Fastest Chip available. How is the battery life on the s22+ honestly? I can’t seem to find a certain answer to it. If the battery life is satisfactory on the s22+, I might just buy it because it’s hundreds of dollars cheaper than the s23+.
@cesararf Жыл бұрын
I had a s22+ and for me the battery was ok, not bad but certainly it could be better. It all depends on your usage. For example, on my workdays I was able to get around 30-40% after 12-14h of usage and between 4 and 5 hours of screen on, that with occasional gaming. During weekends and when I had heavier usage due to my gaming sessions the battery burned faster, and many times I needed to recharge it after about 7 hours. In other words if you are not playing so much in the s22+ you can easily get at least one day of battery, maybe one day and a half, but as soon as you start to play games, using GPS or the camera then you can expect the phone to die sooner of course. That said, I've got the s23+ and the battery is much better. Now on my work days I end around 60% of battery remaing (against the 30-40 in the s22). Also I noticed that the battery drain during my gaming sessions really was improved, also when using GPS I noticed a lower battery consumption. So yeah the new phone has better autonomy but it is expensive. I was lucky to get a good discount due to the trade in. Anyway, if you don't mind having less autonomy then it's fine to buy the s22+ now that is cheaper. Or you could wait until the s23 price drops and get a better phone overall. Hope I helped.

Adam, have you checked your S23 Plus camera to see if you have the blurry picture issues that many are reporting? I’d like to get the phone but I’m worried about this issue and that some are saying it’s actually a hardware defect with the main lens being “decentered” , as they’re calling it.
@MrOldskool1974 Жыл бұрын
@@Facu1ty1855 if you Google this issue, it’s all over the internet. Reports and examples of blurry pictures that don’t appear to be just bokeh focused images. It’s random. And some people are saying they’re having no such issues. So it seems as if it’s not all phones and it MIGHT be, a hardware issue not a software problem? Remains to be seen. Until then I’m just a little concerned I’ll end up with one of the affected units.
@farasty7371 Жыл бұрын
@@MrOldskool1974 I actually noticed this too. If you use manual focusing on pro mode it seems to fix this blur issue for me. This has been going on since the s22 series and thats because of laser auto focus.
@MrOldskool1974 Жыл бұрын
@@farasty7371 so that makes me wonder if it’s actually hardware or software? I have no idea how these cameras and lenses work, and I don’t pretend to. It seems though, if you’re able to get solid shots in focus using manual or “Pro Mode” that it would be software related? Either way it’s made me think twice about buying one? Just so many articles online and people in the “threads” talking about this issue.
