So I’m just now venturing away from drop spindling. After some research I knew I wanted an EEW. The bigger one isn’t available so I got a Nano 2 to hold me over til the 6.1 comes out! I can’t wait.

As a left handed spinner I just want to say thank you for making it more lefty accessible! You addressed my biggest issue by putting controls on the both sides AND allowing customization so it can be switched. It won't help me, since I definitely can't afford to upgrade from my 6.0, but it is definitely something I will mention when. Talking to other lefties who ask about wheels that will work comfortably for us.

It's been fascinating to watch you develop the eel wheels over the years, always making improvements to end up with the best possible product for a reasonable price. These latest changes to the 6.1 are great - I particularly like the clearly labeled, idiot-proof S / Z switch, for those of us who are proven idiots. 😉 Thanks for the update!

I've always had static issues (after making all the adjustments) so I'll be very interested in some real life reviews. This could be a very good upgrade for me. I wish there was an alternate pedal (more like a traditional sewing maching foot pedal). I just can't feel this one to use under my foot/shoe. Would love to see an option on that Maurice if it makes it's way onto your requested list.

I can’t wait for this to come out! I have the nano 2 and the main thing I’m really excited about with the full size is the 8oz bobbins and the speed. Will still use my nano 2 but I think I’m really going to love the full size espinnner!

Nothing on the EEW Pro for a long time. It has run into some issues that are causing me to delay it some. I will get back to it, but I need to think over the plan more. I basically mentioned this in one of my email newsletter updates a few months ago.

You should sign up for the EEW Newsletter at the bottom of www.dreamingrobots.com. I have been talking about this update for probably 4-6 months. This newsletter will help keep you updated. But I still think the EEW 6.0 is great so don't worry about having that version.

Will you be selling an upgrade kit - specifically for the extra switch and controller board? Can I buy the new drive band as mine is too tight? Can I buy the extra stability tie that goes between both arms?

The switches and circuit board would require a new case so I don't plan to offer those because it would be most of the cost of a new eSpinner. When I start selling the new drive belts they will work with yours but this isn't a priority since the ones you have now have been working well for people for years. I offer a 3D printed version of the stablity feature for the flyer as a 3D printed part here: www.dreamingrobots.com/eew-3d-printed-parts/ (it's part of the lace flyer)

That comes with the Tallentcell battery. That said, I don't recommend using it. It's there so you can charge the battery and use it at the same time, but it's not something I'd recommend. If you still want it look up 5.5x2.1mm splitter cable on Amazon.
