I see the support legs a lot, especially the crotch bars, and so I'm gonna drop a tip here that maybe people don't realize: You don't have to go that route if you don't want to. You can use metal or even wood supports/stiffeners. There are tons of metal "stiffeners" or "support braces" available out there, but in a pinch you can just grab a length of 2x4 and bolt it to the bottom of your desk (or even multiple lengths) and what it does is basically eliminate the sag or twist.

Hey Ed and everyone else, can someone please help me with something. So you know how you recommend foam/stands for speaker to cancel the vibration and noises of the desk. Can that be done to a downfacing subwoofer cause it was on carpet and I have now put a piece of wood on it but still vibrates when it is quite loud like from 40% on.
