The embedded s-pen is the main feature that has kept me with Samsung Note/S Ultra series for over a decade (Note 4, Note 8, Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy S22 Ultra) and the reason why I don't consider the foldables or other brands. If Samsung ever removes the embedded s-pen entirely, they will lose my business.

I feel they should have manufactured only Note series Plus model with S Pen like before and as many models they want with S series. These are all features Sammy had over the years but gradually deleted And now charges you more for the privilege , even AI will become a subscription later in the year ….. @Damedesall it's not a gimic for the 1% and it is not for showing off also. Example you place your phone on a holder or phone stand and you are reading an article on the browser. Rasing the hand to scroll every time can get your arms tired (speciallyon bed). So using the spens air gestures really make a huge difference. It's samsungs fault and the tech tubers for not showing the real power of it. Now the 1% who knows about it are punished

Ridiculous excuses!! The Bluetooth functionalities on the Spen is excellent for blogging when switching from the rear and front camera without touching the screen just by double clicking the button. The vast majority of people don't use 8K video recording that wouldn't be an excuse to remove it either and it shouldn't. Samsung just killed a unique feature it had.

If that's the only reason for an using s pen, you can do exactly the same on any phone, using just a Bluetooth mouse paired to your phone. Put the mouse on your thigh, move the pointer to the shutter button, lift the mouse off your thigh and the pointer will stay on the shutter button, then just click the left button to take the shot. And you can get some really small mouse type devices that have very long battery life.

I use the bluetooth functions of the S pen a lot, so that's pretty disappointing to see it gone. My biggest concern is "having" to buy the S23 Ultra over and over as it gets older since I don't want the S24 or S25 Ultra, and I still want a curved screen and the S pen-- two things that samsung has nerfed now :/

Getting a charger used to be a selling point of a phone too. Apple threw it out and everyone followed suit. It is what it is. That's how the world is operating right now. You get less for more. Not just with Samsung, but with every product imaginable from food to energy and to housing

The thing is , Samsung became what it is today , because Samsung galaxy’s of old most of the time had more value features of almost any other phone on the market, Samsung was also generous with features in the box with the phone , and we did call out Apple for being mean with features for many years , but in recent years Samsung has been steadily removing features , accessories in the box , and let’s face it , value from their high end phones ! Samsung phones used to have more of everything , there are other phones on the market with the best specs , similar or even better cameras , they come with super fast charging with a fast charger in the box and they are still way cheaper . Samsung has just become just another smartphone seller in a sea of smartphones.

It is still a damn good device. Yes, I am upgrading from an S23U to an S25U, but even I can see what a great bargain the 24U can be at the moment. If you want Bluetooth features on your Spen, and you want a great device at a great price, then now is time to upgrade to an S24 Ultra. Indeed I predict that S24 Ultra sales will take an upturn now.

The Bluetooth functions were not only useful but unique. At parties and gatherings when you wanted a group selfie everyone used to ask for the Ultra with the S pen. Guaranteed no other phone could do this! But no more! People always asked what phone that was and wanted to try it out. Oh well! I’ve used the s pen in EVERY model since the Note 3. Don’t know if I’ll get the new one.

Using the S-Pen as a remote shutter is the BEST feature of the Note/Ultra variants of the Galaxy phones. Let alone being able to write a quick note, edit photos and move sliders without your fat fingers getting in the way, and switching between front/back camera. I've even used the S-Pen for pesky ads on web pages. It's a lifesaver because some of the close buttons are tiny. I'm sure there's more, this is just what I can remember off the top of my head. The S-Pen may not be something you use often, but when the need arises, it's amazing to have.

I bet you are 100% right about them getting ready to remove the spen completely, and I know why they would. Its so they can fit a larger battery in the phone and larger cameras. Samsung have their own 1inch sensor they developed around 3 years ago and I bet they cant fit it in the ultra without making sacrifices but I think they should split the ultra into 2 models, 1 with no Spen, a larger battery and better cameras that should keep the ultra name and a second model with slightly downgraded cameras a smaller battery but with a built in Spen. And maybe they could call this second model something like the galaxy note.

tbh i think it being an Ultra and marketed as a "flagship" should mean it must have all the features. sure it has this and that chip, blablabla, but can it do this? s25 ultra can never, unlike the s24 ultra (in regards to remote spen) it's like one of those small things that matter and some people have a need for certain things (like that remote function of the spen), in certain occasions. having an extra is what makes a flagship, a flagship. like an all-in-one type of deal. I didn't use the air gestures that often but I use the s-pen shutter button ALL THE TIME. Ever since my Note 20 Ultra, I've used this feature religiously. I have a Galaxy Watch 6 but as stated in the video, it doesn't work as a replacement for the S-Pen. At this moment, this is a DEALBREAKER for me on the S-25 Ultra, especially since there aren't any other major upgrades to make me want to switch in the first place. I'm still pissed at Samsung for removing the micro-SD card slot, another stupid anti-consumer decision that didn't need to be made, since it can share space with the SIM card socket. Samsung better watch out, there are starting to be VERY good alternatives to their smartphones out there & if they keep playing this anti-consumer game, they're going to start losing customers in droves. My S24 Ultra has a VERY WELL KNOWN battery drain issue that's plaguing MILLIONS of units yet Samsung hasn't even acknowledged the problem, least of all done something to rectify it. Watch out Samsung!

Tried the Camera function on my Galaxy Ultra Watch with my S21 Ultra for the first time. It's a pretty decent workaround with the PINCH gesture, which DOES work at least somewhat reliably - once the app finally loads (got stuck on "loading preview" a couple of times for me, might be an S21U issue). Combined with the ultrawide focus improvements, being able to preview the image on the watch it'd then let you use the main lens rather than the selfie for photos like that.

Not only have Samsung removed the Bluetooth features of the S Pen on the S25 Ultra, but they also kept the same battery capacity at 5000 MAH, STILL use an 8-bit display and the max RAM is STILL 12 GB (16 GB only available in East Asia). This is ridiculous when other brands have advanced to at least 5500 MAH capacity or more, 10-bit displays and 16 GB RAM respectively. These specs can even be found on non-flagship devices that cost much less. This is just pathetic and embarassing at this point.

this is all true, I think the S25U might be my last Samsung device. Samsung is stripping away all it's good features. I cant use the S-pen to change slides on my PPTs now. WTF Samsung.

Thank you brother. You said a mouthful. I look upon my phones as a Swiss army tool. So I have a spoon, a fork, a pair of scissors, magnifier. etc. So what happens I buy a tool and discover, "No we removed the spoon because not many people used it" How often would I reach for it? the percent of time I used the spoon? It is no longer a complete tool now. I I had the S25u ordered, then canceled when I found out the S-pen removal of Bluetooth. I am about done with $amsung

Yesterday I wrote a comment on your last video, that I was in a local store where they had a S25 on shelf and I even got my S Pen Pro with me. I didn't see an option to connect. But maybe it didn't had the final software 🤔 But even if it works, the S Pen Pro is outdated!? Samsung now sells the S Pen Creator Edtion, which looks more like a Apple Pencil and there is no mention of Bluetooth I think. Anyway you where faster than me of finding out :D

lol oh my god with all the drama queens. Seriously. ALL of these phone manufacturers are ripping us off and have been for years. Go ahead and move over to apple and buy the same phone every year. Or go to google and buy their flagship with a garbage processor. Or maybe buy a Sony with zero support and shit software 😂 no matter what you get we are all getting taken advantage of period!! I swear I see more bitching about the stupid spen. Where was everyone when the charger bricks and accessories got taken from the box? Headphone jacks? This is no different. In 2 months most of you will still end up buying it 😝😝😝
