I got the same power brick with my GP68hx and it’s GIGANTIC. I bought an aftermarket SlimQ brick to replace it when I’m travelling. You can also power these from usb c but you won’t get full power.

I wish they did the same as what Alienware did with the Area-51m, desktop components in a laptop. The 4090 Laptop simply ain't worth it for the price, it has the 4090 price, but is as slow as the 4070.

Suggest getting the Raider 18 HX instead for $1,300 less... The performance stats are basically the same...

Ok, I have an x13, I need a new laptop as I want more ram. I find I hardly every use my desktop, as it's in the office, and I work in the office.... so I like to chill on the sofa, currently I use a lapdesk with my little x13, so my question is, would this laptop be too big to sit with on the sofa and have it on a lapdesk?

I am looking to buy the titan however the one the store close by has 64gb of RAM. So, how much difference does it make to have 64gb of RAM? Rather than 128gb? Please let me know.

@@John-us6cg this laptop is truly a beast, it gets warm a lot at times to times but if you tweak a little the setting of your games it runs smoothly at max 85 Celsius. Whereas in a normal working environment it is incredibly fast in all operations. Just remember to bring your charger cuz it won't last more than 2 hours if you don't switch to battery saver (even if it only adds 30 min)

I thought about MSI when I was getting my "desktop replacement" while my house was undergoing a reno and I couldn't take my desktop to the rental, I had to balance the justifiable cost of the portable computer, sorry can't call these 18 incher behemoths laptops, and how much I'd use it after the reno was done and I was back with my large desktop. I ended up getting an ROG asus 14900hx paired with a 4070. The display on a 5k portable needs to be better, OLED, high refresh rate IPS -- that was a deal breaker for me. The asus I got had the 240hz IPS panel, and I'm very happy with it, and considering the portable I got was HALF the price of this overkill machine, I bought a 4k 42 inch 138hz monitor, and a 27 inch qwhd 27 inch monitor and a desk, to round out the temp office at the rental, and I was still under the 5k this laptop. Can't really justify this under any logic, even in an unlimited budget world.
