Just hold and drag that bright smol white highlighted edge of ANY open app and u can just resize it.. I have the iPad air M1 Its great! edit* : you can only resize some apps till the extent they let you.. like in the video he couldnt resise Finalcut pro to a smaller extent. but most of the everyday apps can be resized greatly..

As they are all good with similar features. I do think in general what technologies you would use doesn't really make a huge different between how you would use them. However advanced features of those technologies might make life easier for you. So, depending on what devices you would use daily is up to you. However, the iPad is definitely a game changer. I've been rocking the Galaxy Tab S7 FE for a few years and use it as a companion device (with my iPad). Love DeX mode, and that you can have multiple apps running in floating windows (even outside DeX). My typical floating window layout is -- Outlook (personal e-mail), Firefox (web browsing), Samsung Email (work e-mail). I also appreciate the wireless DeX video out to our company televisions (Sony x1, RCA/Roku x2) - makes showing slide decks (or RDPing into something) dead easy. Yes, we are too cheap to purchase an Apple TV for iPad AirPlay (but can AirPlay to the RCA/Roku TVs, no problem). 😂

Actually, the softwares matters the most. You won't find a proper tool for anything meaningful. IPad has dedicated full-blown apps like FCP, and DaVinci Resolve to work with. The apps have limitations, but they are so well-optimized. Android has its own benefits and workarounds. But, it is what it is.

I feel like if your question is, should I get a laptop or an iPad then you should get a laptop for sure. But I think this question is wrong in the first place. Do you ask the question Should I get a phone or a laptop? no right? That is because even though you can do some overlapping task between the two, both of them are fundamentally different. And I feel if you’re looking to use an iPad then you are looking for a very specific specific iPad like use case. If you see yourself using the Apple Pencil and you want to do digital art, study, do browsing, multimedia and that super portability factor is important, then the iPad is a better device than a MacBook. If you see yourself genuinely using the Apple Pencil in various things, the iPad gives you an experience like no other. Yes, even android tablets are (getting) good but I am focusing on iPad because it’s the topic of discussion in the video.

I am an online tutor and a bit of sketcher as well. I was about to buy an iPad with all the pencil stuff. But was worried about it not being good as proper workstation thing. Then I went for Microsoft Surface Pro. And oh boy. For the half of the price, its a cool gadget. It is a good tablet which can be used as a full fledge laptop. Good display, good speakers and windows is just better than iPad OS. I am an iPhone user but still prefer Windows over iPad OS. In my opinion, iPad can be used as an additional device but just not the main device.

Low end laptops cost more than the mid range tablets.. so that's there.. for example for 35000 INR you can get an ipad 9th gen which is good for a tablet but for the same cost you can't get a good laptop... otherwise tablets and laptops have no comparison each have a different use case.. in most cases they supplement each other.

The 11 inch iPad pro doesn't have a xdr display..... It only goes to 500 nits peak. I personally own a M2 iPad pro 11 inch and I can pretty confidently say based on the dimensions, the iPad in the video is a 11 inch one.

You can never replace a Windows Laptop/PC with an Android or iOS tablet because you won't be able to use so many Windows Apps on a Tablet. But given that Surface tablets come with Windows Operating System, you can pretty much replace it with your laptop. That being said, Surface tablets are overpriced. The only possible disadvantage of a Laptop is weight. Otherwise it's much better than a Tablet. Plus Laptops have a longer lifespan.

In my experience, the iPad is an excellent *companion* device. I use it to attend online meetings (great video! good sound!) and to consume media (video, books, etc). General computing is best left to a full-sized PC - Windows, MacOS, Linux...whatever works for you (I have a mix of all). FYI - I am a Systems Engineer and manage a fleet of Windows PCs/servers (via RDP, PowerShell) and some Linux machines (via SSH). Your mileage, based on your profession and how you use computers, will vary!

Honestly, I bought a Laptop for study. Had I bought a tablet, it would have been much easier to carry around and for study purposes. Reasons for saying so:- 1. Battery Life 2. Bulkiness of laptop 3. Speakers - I use external speakers as laptop speakers can be easily faulted. The display is not an issue as for study purposes you will not require a 4K display. If your only purpose is studying, buy a tablet, you will not be disappointed.

I think iPad is for jee aspirants 😅 ( online lectures ) I know it’s a bit crazy to say here but okkkk sorry but I think why is everyone comparing iPad to laptops they to tablets not meant to be compared to laptops i know iPad can’t replace laptops but that’s ok like see me I had an option to buy MacBook Air m1 but I choose iPad because the touch thing you I feel comfortable and I am not a coder or any video editor that need a laptop while buying I knew that it can’t beat laptop but I just wanted this thing extremely useful for my day to day life like reading emails reading pdfs watching some useful videos on KZbin so at last I will if you are thinking to buy this go for it you won’t feel regret ……( a happy iPad Pro M2 user).
