Nice video, Hope to see more in the near future. I have been on Stadia since launch and I love it. The convenience is what keeps me playing Stadia more than any other device. It runs VERY well if set up properly and loads games much faster than my Xbox One X and PS4 Pro. People who are on the fence will likely be impressed by how well it works.

I'm not a regular gamer anymore, I mostly stopped gaming after a couple of years of owning my PS3. I recently enabled the 2 month free trial and I'm really impressed with Stadia. Been playing Turing Test on my 'very basic' work laptop using the keyboard and mouse. I also got my PS3 controller working with it too though i prefer the keyboard/mouse. I don't think i will pay the monthly subscription as i won't use it often enough. I also like the idea that you don't really need to buy any hardware unless you want to play on TV.

I've my Stadia it's freaking sweet! Hardly no load times in RDR2 while PC gaming simps have to use the Rockstar App Launcher and consoles take like 7 minutes to load

Even with Stadia Base, the games you buy can be played online with friends without a subscription. Eat your heart out PlayStation and Xbox. This feature my personal favorite!

As of right now yes. They just released the option to use the Stadia controller wirelessly on the computer, still waiting for that feature on mobile.

I am a really big Nintendo fan and I can agree with you about Stadia. I would love for Nintendo games to be supported. I was thinking ... maybe something along the lines of a Super Mario game. Also Mario Kart Tour is a mobile game, so I was thinking maybe that, but Stadia subscribers automatically get the Gold Pass subscription so they don't have to have two subscriptions to play a single game.

Another great video Brett. I've been a pro subscriber since launch and I really enjoy the games that I play. I don't have trouble with input lag or game smoothness. I do wish that what I'm going to move my Chromecast at controller to a friend's house for the weekend that there would be less set up involved each time.

One question to the Stadia Chromecast Ultra thing. Am I only able to play stadia on the cromecast ultra purchased with the premiere edition or am i also able to play stadia on another chromecast ultra I bought seperatly?

They have now updated all the Chromecast Ultras to work with Stadia so the one you already have will work. So all you will need is a Stadia controller.

Each time you turn on the controller you just link it to the TV with the on screen code. It just takes a few seconds.

I hooked up my Linux pc to my 55 tv and use Xbox 360 wireless controller. It works very well and get it working in best quality settings. The only problem is it’s impossible to start games from Chrome using controller without using mouse.

I just have basic cheapest internet plan from spectrum. & Stadia runs fine for me. I am playing on a 1080p TV tho so not looking to push 4k. But yes been playing destiny on there & doom eternal with no problems using switch pro controller.

I would say yes, that will give you the couch gaming experience most people prefer. Not that you have the controller you will also be able to easily play on your phone or computer.

Do u need the stadia controller and Google Chromecast ultra to get the full experience? I tried yesterday on my laptop using my xb Controller, but it stutters so much. I thought they said you could play on pc or phone as well to TV. But I have heard alot of people have stuttering when playing on pc without the stadia controller and Google Chromecast ultra. Stadia speedtest tell me I can play in 4k HDr and all that based on internet speeds It seems stadia lagged for you aswell on pc, but not on TV.

Your should be able to have the same experience. My Chromecast Ultra was hard wired intou router was the only difference.

Only the Stadia Controller works on the TV. PC and Android phones only have support for other controllers.

I got the stadia controller with the Google stadia premium with the Chromecast ultra and mini home, I returned stadia controller and mini home for a replacement, but, once I sent back those two items,I never got my replacements, and no one from stadia or Google has helped me get this resolved, very frustrating. But my bigger problem now is the Chromecast ultra won't connect unless I go through the stadia set up...do you know any ways around this? Guess this might be more a Chromecast ultra issue, but I'm stuck on the stadia set up screen.

So the Chromecast Ultra won't go through the setup unless you do the stadia setup? You should be able to do that even without your controller through the stadia app on your phone. If it doesn't work you could try a factory reset on the Chromecast Ultra by holding down the button for 15 seconds and then try the setup again.

It all depends how you want to play. You could buy 1 game and if you already have equipment then it is much much to get started. Compared to other consoles you will still be saving money for the first year or two.

They really need to improve the games list. They need to get a ton of indie developers on this while they work on AAA title companies to come aboard..

You would need to buy it again but right now you can claim it for free with Stadia Pro. Pro lets you instantly claim available games to play, Base requires you to purchase games to play.

If you were only playing the claimed games from the Pro account you won't be able to play that after the trials ends. You would then need to purchase it to keep playing.

I have mixed feelings for stadia but I have more pros then cons and one of the pros that I have and it’s a big one and it’s you can get a full refund on any game you buy that you don’t like or doesn’t run well but the only catch is you have to have less then 2 hours of play time on that game but still at least you can get a full refund
