3:46, in a 7-bag randomizer, wouldnt the piece be guaranteed to appear every 2n-1, i.e. every 13 pieces? E.g. a line piece that appears first in one 7-piece sequence may appear 7th in the next sequence, i.e. a line drought of 13 pieces.

Yes, you're right that a tetrimino is guaranteed every 13 pieces in the worst-case scenario. A piece is guaranteed every 7 pieces if you define each bag as the 7 pieces. It's a bit of nuance that's hard to explain concisely.

Great video. Only one minor thing I think: a 7-piece-bag rng or whatever it's called does not mean you get any one piece "every seven pieces" but rather "once within a sequence of thirteen pieces max". I think. ?

That’s true if you’re referring to your chances of getting a certain piece next starting from any point in the middle of a game. For simplicity’s sake in the script, I just referred to 7-bag as it is from when you start a game onwards.
