there's nothing racist about Trump's tweet. It doesn't denigrate the congresswoman in terms of her race and neither does it claim one race is superior to the other. It does highlight the fact that one country is better than another. You can say the tweet was perhaps insensitive but it echoes with truth and that's why it hurts so much.

I liked Ted prior to ‘16 as I thought he was a principled and value driven conservative. Over the last 5 years he’s shown himself to be as driven by personal ambition as anyone I’ve ever seen. What were substantive disagreements on the size and scope of government, have devolved into what-about-ism’s. He’s just a hollow shell and I can’t stand to listen to him speak.

I was a bit disappointed in Margaret during this interview. She appeared to make the argument that Trump criticizing the congresswomen was racist simply because he's white and they're persons of color. His tweet that the radical congresswomen in The Squad should go back and try to fix the crime infested places from which they've come is a "glass houses" type of statement and I think it's based on crime facts. Criticizing places for being crime infested is not racist simply because of the racial makeup of those places, if they are indeed areas of high crime. This is the sort of argument leftists in the media routinely make and it is dishonest and major virtue signalling and phoniness. Criticizing someone based on facts is not racist regardless of the races of the criticizer and who he or she is criticizing . Nor is criticizing someone who promotes radical political and/or religious philosophy. Even if a person directly criticizes someone else's religion it's not a case of racism. Religion does not equal race. The thing that annoyed me the most was how Margaret was stuck on making a false accusation about Trump and wouldn't let it go. Senator Cruz handled her questions directed at trying to corner him into agreeing with her appropriately despite her repeating them over and over!
