This guy has been winning hearts throughout Cheers, Becker, The Good Place, Mr. Mayor, and now this show. Different generations have really tuned into him over the years of his career, and that must feel very rewarding to him and his wife Mary Steenburgen.

An American with an environmental conscience. The quality of life for hundreds of millions of people hangs on the activism of people who care about other human beings and on maintaining the world that we have all inherited. We are all called to be stewards of the natural world. Thank you, Mister Danson for caring. And for sharing your positive attitude about aging. We could all tweak our lives to make them more meaningful.

He's so endearing and forever handsome. I still fall asleep with Cheers on in the background. That show holds a special place in my heart. The last episode of Cheers aired the day my son was born. Ted mustn't worry, I feel plenty will watching the new show. I know I will❣️

Ted Danson is an inspiring and funny man. I first saw him on Becker on CBS when I was about 10. Damages on FX with Glenn Close was wonderful. And Curb too yes which everyone is good in. And as a Floridan, please keep our oceans safe please!!! I’m glad he has the lovely Mary. Now I see why he’s so happy to be alive and he works as hard as he does.

Great show. As someone that works in senior living, I would just like to point out to CBS Sunday Morning that the Netflix show is set in a retirement community or senior living community - one that has assisted living and memory care. "Nursing homes" are for people that need extensive medical assistance 24/7 and is a term that should not be used as a catch-all for the different levels of senior living.

@jujubees711Ай бұрын
I love this show so much. It's such a sweet, tender, heartfelt, and cute show. Everything so many shows are missing today. Everything the last few years and decades has so much violence. Writers and producers are always trying to push the envelope to see how much sex and nudity they can get away with. They're always trying to shock you. This show is the antithesis of that. And I think that's why so many people love it. We're tired of being shocked. It's just nice to see a sweet show. That pushes the envelope with human emotions with grief. The need for connection, friendship. Purpose. To talk to be open with how we're feeling and talk to one another. I didn't binge this show. I'm on episode 6. Savoring it. Because I don't want it to be over. I hope they come back for season 2

So copy another person's content! That is very American.
@JillWhitcomb19662 ай бұрын
Here is a short list of American TV shows that were copied, or based on, shows from various foreign countries: All in the Family, Three's Company, American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, Life on Mars, The Masked Singer, The Office, Sanford and Son, Ugly Betty, The Voice, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Dear John, Shameless, Homeland, House of Cards, Antiques Roadshow, and Veep. So then, making an 'American version' of a TV show has been happening for 50+ years now.

@@JillWhitcomb1966 Well stated!!!! Annnnnnd...is it not an old saying that "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness" ~ Oscar Wilde So that means those originals were great in my opinion and not that those copying are 'mediocrity'....because DANSON sure as rain is not mediocrity in anything he's done...
