Well, yes, he pronounced it correctly IF he was trying to say it in French. Otherwise, he mispronounced it in English. What is certain is that he absolutely butchered "Nanaimo" as in Nanaimo bars. But hey, just happy to see Americans include Canada in ANY discussion, eh? ;~}

Even at the age of 8 yrs old I looked into the YMCA dojo and saw ''those guys over there'' doing Karate, and doing Judo and I knew, as Jerry says: "I wanted to be over there, with those guys. I wanted to be one of them."" And its been 50 years of martial arts practice. I'm not a title holder, I don't own or run a dojo, but I have enjoyed the practice of martial arts all my life by saying, I want to be over there with the guys. 🥰

I would love to see you guys at Tony Packo's. My grandpa was a funeral director in Northwestern Ohio and would do runs up to Toledo to pick up bodies from the morgue. He would always stop at Packo's for a chili dog. My Dad once asked him about leaving a body in the parking lot and he responded "they're not going anywhere." Classic.

Jerry, regarding food, there are many debates over Montreal, smoked meat versus New York pastrami, you could call them cousins , also the other is the New York Bagel vs. the Montreal Bagel. That you’ve never had poutine love it or hate it, once you try it, I’m sure you could make some material out of that.

I live in NANAIMO, BC, Canada. West Coast. We are on Vancouver Island. Nanaimo is pronounced NaNAmo. I had difficulty with it also, when I first moved here. This is where Nanaimo bars were born. Hard dark chocolate outsides, cream and a little coconut inside. Yum.

Hatch, New Mexico grows prized green chiles. And, Hatch Chile Cheeseburgers are reknowned statewide. (Part of State Fair cooking contests held in recent years) Find one of the restaurants that won or placed high up in the contest. A stop pretty much enroute to San Diego.

San Diego, nice weather year around, everybody's outside. Haven’t read a book since I got here 30+ years ago. As was pointed out in the video, we thereby don't laugh much at comedy shows. A lot of grunting, though. Some chagrin along with grunting at ticket prices. Come on, it’s just two guys not the Icecapades. They have a large cast and crew not to mention the cost to keep the ice cold in our aforementioned nice climate. All you guys need is a car to get over to the Sports Arena (now named after a casino) and money for dinner at the nearby Pollo Loco (Jim, you will love the grilled chicken, although I know you're not picky about your meats).
