Jim Gaffigan just earned Canadian citizenship by knowing how to pronounce Poutine properly.
@michaeltrottier5429
@michaeltrottier5429 3 ай бұрын
Well, yes, he pronounced it correctly IF he was trying to say it in French. Otherwise, he mispronounced it in English. What is certain is that he absolutely butchered "Nanaimo" as in Nanaimo bars. But hey, just happy to see Americans include Canada in ANY discussion, eh? ;~}

2:44 I have used this philosophy in my own life. Even at the age of 8 yrs old I looked into the YMCA dojo and saw ''those guys over there'' doing Karate, and doing Judo and I knew, as Jerry says: "I wanted to be over there, with those guys. I wanted to be one of them."" And its been 50 years of martial arts practice. I'm not a title holder, I don't own or run a dojo, but I have enjoyed the practice of martial arts all my life by saying, I want to be over there with the guys. 🥰

Jerry, regarding food, there are many debates over Montreal, smoked meat versus New York pastrami, you could call them cousins , also the other is the New York Bagel vs. the Montreal Bagel. That you’ve never had poutine love it or hate it, once you try it, I’m sure you could make some material out of that.

A lot of grunting, though. Some chagrin along with grunting at ticket prices. Come on, it’s just two guys not the Icecapades. They have a large cast and crew not to mention the cost to keep the ice cold in our aforementioned nice climate. All you guys need is a car to get over to the Sports Arena (now named after a casino) and money for dinner at the nearby Pollo Loco (Jim, you will love the grilled chicken, although I know you're not picky about your meats).
