Johnny “Rubber Man” Walker was able to extend his in-ring career because of that mask. Visually, he was an old man from the neck up. But he could work circles around some of the younger guys.

He was the only sidekick to become MORE POPULAR and successful than the Original . Thats saying something too because MrWrestling / Tim Woods was a well established and in demand babyface in the 70s .

I remember seeing a pic from one of the Apter magazines where Wrestling II was at a Krystal's waiting to order while in his mask. The whole idea of wearing a mask is so fans DON''T bother you in public. But II apparently wanted the attention as I've heard other stories; wearing the mask getting off planes, wearing a mask to The White House.

Mil Mascaras and Wrestling II love to hide their identity like they are Clark Kent. I wonder if they got pulled over by the cops and had to take off their masks.

Watching old Mid South, Mr Wrestling ll irritates me because he didn't sell at all. He ruined a lot of matches that could have been good had he just sold.

The promoters let 2 by with the not-selling. Was thought to be part of some kind of “mystique” about 2 being super tough. IRL, 2 WAS a very tough dude.

Not a prick but prickly and gruff . He took things very seriously and it was easy to ruffle his feathers if he thought you were cavalier in you business .
