If it makes you less sad, remember it was planned that way! They weren't canceled and are, in fact, currently being flooded with interview questions about "Come on, just one more season...?" and "Okay fine if not another season, what about a spinoff? Here's 10 spinoffs we'd watch." 😁

There are rumours now that they *might* go ahead and make a fourth, or perhaps a spin-off. Brendan Hunt (who plays Coach Beard, and is also one of the show's creators) said as much. He also said that it's entirely possible that they stick with their original plan not make any more, but they want to take some time to decompress and digest.

My favorite part about Higgins and his wife's song being "Rainbow" is that, first of all, when they show them the line of the song playing is "Have you seen her dressed in blue" and Mrs. Higgins is wearing blue, but most importantly, those two actors have been married for 30 years. So every bit of love and affection between them throughout the series is the real deal.

Nate spitting at himself in the mirror is him spitting at a version of himself that he considers weak or pathetic. And he sheds that skin in the moment and becomes someone stronger and confident. The old couple talking to the camera is a rom com trope from When Harry Met Sally.

I can't wait to see everyones reaction when you guys find out who Rebecca is actually talking to on the app. Lol. I think I went into a mental shock when I watched this episode lol I didn't see that coming and the whole story seemed very forced. Also, Nate 360 degree change in his character will leave you very surprised but intrigued. Season 2 was great and had some good moments but few odd stuff too. Season 3 was a mix of everything I hope they make a spin-off with some of the OG characters i would love to see that.

You guys have probably figured it out by now since you're probably done with the series but just in case: He didn't get window seat at first because Jade wasn't playing that shit. She told him they couldn't guarantee the window table, obviously being held in case someone big comes by, and he tried to name drop on her. So right off that point she saw him as an absolute tool and she definitely wasn't going to give him the window table now. It wasn't until he was confident AND HONEST with her about just wanting to eat and get out of there quickly that she caved. He stopped being toolish while just being confident.

@Cio Lake she was following the policy when she asked about the reservation. When he name droped Roy she clearly had no idea who that was (hence the "is he your dad?" Reply), she was just teaching Nate a lesson about him name dropping. As we learn later on, she doesn't do football. She doesn't care for it. Doesn't know who the managers or players are. It's not her thing. Later on in the episode when he's assertive she's actually impressed and doesn't even bother asking Derek if she can move Nate and his family. But him being douchey and asking her to throw her number in was too far, which even he realized. There is literally no fear in her reaction to him. Or racist disgust. There's nothing here to indicate she was just a racist coward, which seems to be what you 2 that replied here are going with, and S3 confirms she's just not impressed by douchey behavior and tolerates Derek because she needs a job but clearly isn't someone to be intimidated or pushed around. I'm guessing you 2 haven't gotten that far yet. But here you are...

14:14 That's a pretty ignorant thing to say. People get mad at playing video games for pretty valid reasons like when the game lags and freezes and suffers certain glitches and also whenever there's this random difficult puzzle or fight to get through because the developers wanted to overcomplicate those puzzles and wanted to make certain enemies OP just to piss us off since they want to be dicks. (Had to retype this cuz some edgelord replied to this saying it's a "bad faith argument" lol).

Nate’s character arc upsets me so much because it’s so clear how he devolves into an angry incel of a man, and how his path could have been so different. He took all the wrong lessons from the advice people gave him, and let his insecurities within himself and resentment for his dad (and therefore any father figure) become a major driving force in his decisions. My dad is 57, he’s just now learning to recognize how he was raised and how his dad treated him heavily influenced how he behaved and perceived himself throughout life. I’ve seen so many Nate’s in my life, and it always makes me sad. I spent years building my confidence and love of myself, so I know it’s possible, but my childhood, parents, privileges, etc. are all different than the next person, and it’s so hard to show people their worth if they don’t want to see it.
