Rebecca is a real one for telling Rupert to stop being such a fuckwit for not only his daughter's sake but for Becks', too.

It’s sad that Ted had them on the right path with the sewer lecture. They were internalizing the message and bought in. Even Zava who wasn’t there for it was still living the message-which is why even Jamie agreed with him-though it’s a bit of a regression for Jamie that he failed to make the extra pass in the first half when Zava was there Rebecca’s being overcommitted for the wrong reasons and Ted being overly distracted is what upset the balance. Rebecca came down to talk to Ted, leaving half-time pep talk to Roy and Beard, who were letting Nate live in their heads rent free the whole episode. Of course it wouldn’t be as interesting a story, but you kinda wish Ted had explained to his coaching staff: “we can’t get them overly fired up because the way our players will beat Nate’s tactics is through discipline”
@P3TER_Official2311 күн бұрын
Why should've he passed to Zava? He (Jamie) was in a perfect shooting postition which Zava himself created by stepping over the ball
@alahiri200211 күн бұрын
@@P3TER_Official23 He could have played Zava through for an even clearer chance with a simple outer foot pass. But it was by no means a selfish decision; he was also in a shooting position himself.

The end - Rebecca didn’t get angry with Rupert, just called him out on his behaviour. The same behaviour that ruined his last two marriages.

The thing that I don’t get is why didn’t Ted just make a new believe poster like it was that easy i guess to make no one notice but I mean still

Bc the players will start asking why he changes the sign and he'll have to tell them it's bc of Nate.

@@boberton9464 remember: he also doesn’t want them to hate nate. look at how badly they reacted when they learned nate ripped the sign

Ok but still i mean I just thought that it was implied that they got a new sign and in the season 3 trailer where everyone is making believe posters I thought that they were just trying to see which one they should choose
@romakhan6155 Жыл бұрын
So by making a new sign it makes it seem like what had happened between him and nate can never be healed. By changing it there would have also been questions and a hatred for nate he didnt want .

Things I learnt in this episode: * Nate only needs to make a subtle gesture to his players to make them score a quick goal * The girl at the pizza shop still thinks that Nate is unattractive, even though he's the manager of a big premier League team... And Even after he receives the biggest praise and validation that he could ask for by her manager. (Still, he got "rewarded" at the end by being introduced to Anastasia... How that pans out remains to be seen)

That subtle gesture was not to only score a goal. It was for the high pressing that led to the goal

2:46 My brother in Christ, you were the one who stepped over the ball on purpose to create a perfect shooting opportunity. Why would he pass it back to you? In what world does that make sense?

if there is a FOURTH season to Ted Lasso, i imagine Trent would still be with the team in some capacity. can't have the DIAMOND DOGS with just Roy, Higgins, Nathan, and Beard only......

this aged well. but i think you reflect most everybody's opinion about Nate. it was ALWAYS a father figure thing with Nate. he thought he saw that with Ted. Ted instead treated him as an equal, not someone needing a mentor. Nate saw that as abandonment and found it with Rupert. Rupert was a huge disappointment. Nate's father (and his GF, Jade) made him realize that he did NOT need a father figure. he was his own man. and the realization that HE was the one that abandoned Ted is what caused his hesitancy to return to Richmond and his subsequent apology to Ted.

If season three is the last I think it’s just too late for Nate. There’s not many episodes left, Jamie’s redemption arc was done gradually and he wasnt as bad as Nate.
