I think Keeley needs someone lime Barbara around for her company. Keeley is a creative visionary type while Barbara is someone who can keep her from going too far off the rails. After all Barbara did warn Keeley not to hire Shandy

Not sure if Shandy was a casting mistake or always intended to be a short term character. Her departure (unless she is hired by West Ham) looks like an opportunity for Keely to step up and take control of her business....especially if she is dating the boss!

I think we have seen the last of Zava. We’ve all been led to believe this is his ultimate swap to West Ham. Rupert being the football mind he is I think planted it in his head to go to Richmond knowing what it would to do the locker room.

I dont think so. Zava was legitimately insane. My impression is he's Messi and Ronaldo rolled into a player. They also say he's basically won everywhere he's gone. Rupert wanted him but he was bad for Richmond probably because they've never had the success that West Ham enjoys so they got steamrolled by him/ lost confidence in themselves

Those two characters were underused imo. Zava should've been a bigger test for Jamie, and the coaches. Like c'mon. Coaches basically didn't do shit with him and Jamie just starting practicing at 4:00 AM. At least, let him become a better player and show it in a game were he outplays Zava. And Ted should already know at least a bit more about strategies. And Shandy, well, I don't understand what was the point for her. She was used as a punchline, rather than a test for Keeley. Would've been better if Keeley was tested way more by her, instead of whatever that was. Just my opinion.

Felt the same. Finally went back after 3 months and finished it after I was told they stuck the landing. And they did. The series has a very natural, heart warming ending without any unnatural forced "hollywood" endings.
