I just love mackinnions attitude he never gives up on games as part of a comeback team. If you doubt him he comes back and bites hard. Hes a machine in the playoffs since his rookie year. I think its either mathers or mack and there are to many reasons to vote for both of them.

Zucker Beauvillier are both coming off the books and if resigned won't be close to those current cap numbers. That was a 30 second glance at their mobile version. Guess my 1st can be rephrased as a statement and not a question

I've watched the nhl draft lottery, it's not that bad to watch. You just have a short delay for a few seconds while they look at who has the number combination.

preds proved they could hang under new faster system with brunette. it took a while to get used to it from hynes. if they continue this "retool", i think they is a growing danger for the next season. But atm i could see all central teams being a playoff team next season except mostl ikely minnesota and for sure chicago. there are some preds players with big questions surrounding them like Cody Glass, Fabbro, Barrie and the fact that they have bunch of older guys that might fall of hard soon like schenn, mcdonough amongothers on the other side of 30. Trotz said himself he would like to get younger with the team. Tho i still think Josi and Nyquist will be effective next season unless injury. And Forsberg is peaking now so if u wanna do it with him in ur core along with josi and Sissons from the 2017 run, u got 2-4 years to do it. and btw minnesota wild fans....im sorry for ur current coach being john hynes.

With regards to the draft lottery... honestly, I don't care if it's "riveting television". I'd rather see some transparency in the process. Furthermore, it would've been great to not have to listen to people awkwardly interview a clearly uncomfortable Celebrini on ESPN during the process that would decide which team would draft him. That was terrible television.

The league has some really good players in it. Honestly I would be shocked if McDavid wasn't 4th. But it's such a solid group of 4 and it doesn't surprise me it doesn't have McDavid. Matthews 69 goals is ridiculous, Kucherov 100 assists and willing Tampa to the playoffs, yes McDavid had that too but Oilers have more talent than Tampa Bay. And MacKinnon is just an absolute unit. Honestly between those 4 I'd feel satisfied with any combination of 3 being a finalist for Ted Lindsay

Why? The Oilers were so terrible in October and November that they had to fire their coach. At the end of November, they were 26th in the entire league, McDavid was no help to them then. But then again, who knows? He might have been fourth in voting. Only the top three vote getters are ever announced before the awards ceremony. The full list is never released until after the award is given out in the end of June.
