I know a lot of people who are fans of your content and who don't believe that water temperature makes any difference haha.. it'll be interesting to wait for feedback from them or not. I'm a believer that it does affect the blade feel but hey, to each his own. Great shave! I'm curious about that scent now

Well it is ok for them to be wrong. Years of barbering prove that. It proves they are human LOL Thanks for commenting and watching

Neat, i will give that a try. So basically the cutting edge (if dry) can want to stutter and stick to the surface of the skin, instead of 'gliding'

Lesson in the physics of fluid boundary layers by our very own Master Barber & sushi aficionado. I’m not really learned in that kind of stuff, but I remember hearing those fancy words once before and it seemed to apply. 👍

Thank you for the suggestions on wetting the blade for more lubrication. I have found that the case when I use a safety razor. I will use the hot water and let is run down the blade next shave. I have a question regarding blade chatter; the worst is when shaving my neck. I have really bumpy skin with deep hills and valleys from my neck muscles and esophagus/throat. Not to mention that my grain runs horizontal. Is there a method that I can use to make shaving that part more comfortable and reduce blade chatter? Is there a blade shape or thickness that would benefit my situation? Thank you.

1st off thanks for watching. As for the whisker growth try mapping your beard after a few days of growth. That will allow you to determine exactly what quadrants of your face are growing in what direction, and thus your with the grain pass can follow that direction. Your with the grain may be different in different parts of the face. And subsequent passes will fall in line. If you do have problem areas it may be that multiple with the grain passes may be best. Although there is no set rule, nor blade. Do not buy a sample pack. Pick one blade and one razor and do a fair amount of shaves to determine and eliminate what does not work for you. Another option is to try a Slant Razor. Sometime it can help when you may have to do multiple with the grain passes. This of course is with a DE razor. With straights experimentation is the best plan with different pressures. Hope that helps
