Hey Shadwmixx, glad to be of help. Teddy is using Studio One Professional in this video, which offers some features, including mastering, that is not found in Producer. Studio One will work with any interface that is Core Audio or ASIO-compliant. We recommend a PreSonus interface, of course. How many channels of audio do you need to record at once? Hey Jay! The audio files created via the Export Stems command will include the results of all inserts and sends, as well as fader and pan on the Track or channel. If you don’t want the inserts or sends included in the exported audio, disable them before exporting. :)

I started producing music using Steinberg Cubase, that's an awesome DAW !! But with time i was "loosing someting"..... so many times passed on the DAW (I live on the DAW) robbed my "inspirational workflow", and I started to serach a good alternative, that was similiar to Cubase, with a better interface and with full drag&drop, and with something from Logic :) I found it...S1 !! But S1 is so much more ^_^ ....I cannot live without it now... there's nothing that fits better with my dreams, Thaks!

@gospellover2 Hey there, you can absolutely do this! You will want to send the audio output from your computer running Studio One to the mixing console or PA system at your church. It might require an adapter of sorts, or an interface like the PreSonus AudioBox 22VSL. Does that help? Thanks for choosing us!

If you press cmd+M on an audio track it will load up Melodyne or a pop-up will tell you to install it. But honestly I´m not sure if Melodyne is included in the price. That have to be easy to look up on presonus webpage? Regards, Chris Angelo

No danger at all! Impact sets each pad to a separate track in your mixer, so simply drag 'n' drop effects like they were normal audio or instrument tracks. :)

In Studio One, from the drop-down menu, choose Studio One >> Studio One Installation >> Install Content from PreSonus User account. You'll find tons of stuff there. Also check out PreSonus Exchange in the Studio One Browser!

It depends on what you are trying to do. If you are just producing tracks using samples and sequences, then no. But if you want to record external audio via instruments like drums and guitars, then yes. :) What sort of music are you looking to make?

Many Studio One users including Teddy Riley find that Studio One just plain sounds better than other DAWs, so that would certainly include vocals. Upgrades are generally free, but sometimes we add features that are too awesome to just give away. Still, it's less spendy than a LOT of other DAWs out there...

It depends on exactly what you mean - are you looking to get individual tracks from a stereo file, like an MP3? If so, that's not really possible in Studio One or any other DAW. If you already have the multi-track recordings, then Studio One can absolutely do this!

Soon you will be able to timestretch in maschine directly with 1.8 That being said, I use maschine with Studio One to mix my tracks. It's so easy to use maschines drag and drop audio into studio one. The effects that come with it are pretty good also. The eq's are nice and it's easy to sidechain

I have been using another DAW, C...SE ,since 90's and produced many songs on it,as a pro producer in my country. I thought i will never be able to CHANGE my DAW,cause its the best, but i always thought stg missing, then i see Teddy's video and i said to my self lets give it a try.All i can say is"Studio One"is way much faster and user friendly, Audio stretching and QUANTIZING is just one click :) I dont know how but it never damages the sound of the audio when u stretch it. Ex Daw uninstalled

Cool ,will check it out , And About the Feedback loops , It can Do anything Really , from making a bass or higher pitched sound that you can sample and bring into a sample synth like iris , Or before you actually crank it to a self sustaining feedback loop , you can just have the loop open so to speak it will make the sound more powerful , and any FX you have in the loop will be boosted Also ☻

I am working with Maschine, MPC 2000, and the Novation 61 midi keyboard. My question is can you time stretch samples in Studio 1 or change the pitch of a sample without changing the tone of the sample? If so, I am puchasing Studio 1 today.

1st I wana give u ya props bro & I juz bought The Presonus Audio Box & a M-Audio Keystation 61. I had no problem sending & receiving Midi data but whn I tried to add the Mpc 1000 N2 my midi set up where Im runin the M-Audio keystation thru the Mpc 1000 Im havin a hard time getting data from the Mpc but I can still send & receive frm da M-Audio & I cant find anything on you tube wif any tutorials on how to sync up the Mpc1000 wif Studio One - any suggestions would appreciated...

I love Presonus! I switched from Pro Tools for my audio recording DAW, BUT.....in terms of sequencing I wish it was more like Reason(my sequencing DAW), I've tried to SEQ on Presonus, it's ok, but it's not as tight as Reason's seq. Everything else about it is Great tho :)

I´m sad to say that my Emagic Logic Control doesn´t work as I hoped, and it was a very important thing to have cause I use it daily in Logic. The transport buttons work and the first 8 channels as well but when changing to channel 9+ the Control won´t follow automatically :( Neither does any type of EQ work to setup or plugins management. I did boot The Emagic Logic control as a Mackie unit so it´s not the problem. Could anyone at presonus have a look at this please? Regards, Chris Angelo
